After a hit-and-run accident, I clearly told FMG Leeds that my car was not drivable. They returned it to me having only repaired the bodywork and admitted they did not check the engine or mechanical components.

Before the accident, the car had recently passed its MOT and been fully serviced — no engine noise, no warning lights. Immediately after collection, there was a loud engine noise and multiple malfunction warnings on the dashboard.

Returning a vehicle in that condition is unsafe and shows a serious lack of competence and care. Communication was equally poor — nearly impossible to reach by phone and very difficult to get updates.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with their vehicle.

Recently had my car repaired at the mitcham branch and it was excellent from start to finish, the ladies on the front desk answer the phone very quickly and had the answers for any questions I had. Also was kept updated on my repair via the fmg connect app which told me which stages my car was at so I knew how it was coming along, and finally the repair was absolutely perfect so I definitely recommend !

Excellent Repair Service After an Accident

The service provided was exceptional in repairing my vehicle after an accident caused by another party. The onboard Dashcam footage significantly expedited the acceptance of liability from the other party's insurance. Although there were some unavoidable delays and rescheduled completion dates due to issues with accessing replacement parts, the representative was very professional and supportive during our conversations. The regular updates throughout the process were outstanding. I appreciate all the efforts made to restore my car to its original condition.
