I am beyond disappointed with my experience today. I attempted to place a simple order less than $300 for skin care products that I truly need, as I have extremely sensitive skin. This is the exact reason I chose to use an FSA account in the first place. Instead of being able to complete my order, my account was flagged for “fraud,” and now my funds are being held hostage for 24 hours. I gave them all of the correct information as well as a prompt called as I ended up taking off of work just to take this call so that I could get the necessary items as quickly as possible. To make matters worse, when I called for help, I was not even allowed to speak with a supervisor. I was told supervisors only work 9 to 5, which is absolutely not true. I work from home, I know how these things work. There is always a supervisor available. This was nothing more than a refusal to provide real customer service. The experience was not only frustrating, but insulting. I felt dismissed and unheard. A company handling people’s healthcare funds should have much higher standards of accountability and respect. Instead, FSA Store made me feel like I was doing something wrong for simply trying to care for my health. You’ve lost a loyal customer today. I will never be shopping with FSA Store again, and I will be warning others about this absolutely ridiculous treatment.
Other online stores offer much greater FSA selection, equal pricing, better return policies, higher quality reviews, faster shipping, and significantly better customer support.FSA Store acts with low integrity by prominently claiming in their Savings Center that "you’ll never shop without an FSA Store discount code again." However, the terms buried in the separate 240+ paragraph legal document states that discount codes are single-use.FSA Store, though, will happily allow customers to apply discount codes and subtract the amount from the cart's total, before invisibly and without notification removing the discount after customers give them their credit card information.Although they claim to have 24/7 customer support, after 5pm EST there is nobody with power to modify orders.Another giant red flag I ran into is that customer support flat out refuses to send written communication summarizing what we had talked about in the call.Do yourself a favor. Frequent a better, more accountable store with a better selection and higher integrity.Even if I hadn't run into these problems, I found way better stores which also accept FSA funds after researching a little.
Horrible Customer Service. Do not use this company unless you like throwing money away. I spent 1000$ on two pairs of glasses. 1. They got the color wrong on my primary pair. On both of them they did not put in my bifocals even though I was charged for it. I both called and emailed trying to get this fixed. It was then I learned that the only way they would work with me is if I sent back everything as is. I misplaced the cleaning cloth and because of that they would not fix my glasses or return my money. So now I have 1000$ glasses sitting in my dresser. I have my email communication to back this up and would be happy to share. I am launching a complaint with my insurance company also.
This is for their customer service. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and was able to help me with my lost/stolen order. What happened was FedEx claimed they had “delivered” my 2 packages and after a few days I still have not received it. Never mind actually trying to contact someone from there.. after confirming that FSA did indeed have my correct address and receiving my third package.. it’s pretty clear someone from FedEx stole it. I really hate FedEx and wish more companies like FSA would stop using them. They’ve always lost, stolen or got me my packages way later than expected. Even though my experience with FSA customer service was great, I’m also hesitant to use them again simply because I don’t want to deal with FedEx anymore!! Wish I could remember the lady’s name, whoever you are thanks for your help! :)
Before placing my order, I wish I had known about the FSA/HSA online stores at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Walgreens, and CVS. I make an annual purchase, and this year's prices were outrageous. Like many, I accepted it as "inflation" and went ahead. The pricing at the FSA Store feels like price gouging, especially when you realize other retailers have FSA stores online where you can save hundreds of dollars on the same items. Plus, the distribution is better; my last order from the FSA Store took about three weeks to arrive. It's definitely worth shopping around. Back in 2020/2021, the FSA Store was great, but times change.
Absolutely pitiful customer service. I placed an order a month ago. When it was still in a pending status after two weeks, I decided to contact customer service. After five attempts, I finally received a reply stating that the lab was busy because of year end orders. Since that time (two weeks ago) I have made two other attempts to gain some clarity or answers with no response. I even requested to cancel the order and sill crickets…….
I placed an order through the fsa store for the ease of using my flex benefits. I paid more for the item than I would have if I had ordered it directly from the manufacture. I also could have received it with 2 day shipping from the manufacture. 14 days later the fsa store still had not shipped the item to me. Their excuse is that they are busy at the end of the year. Its the fsa store, they KNOW they are going to be busy at the end of the year and can plan accordingly for these circumstances. 14 days and still not shipped is pretty bad customer service. I cancelled my order and now I get to wait another week to get my refund. I am very disappointed.
