I started my 7 day free trial on July 14th,2024. I cancelled the same day because it wasn’t needed for the game I wanted to watch. After cancelling, the system charged me during the free trial period. I requested a refund, it was denied, even after showing clear evidence. The customer service reason, “the system doesn’t offer that option”

BE AWARE OF MISINFORMATION

I did the free trial and expected about a $80 charge when I forgot to cancel (my bad). They charged be close to $340. Eventually, I got over it. I canceled the subscription, or so I thought. TODAY (7/22) they charged ANOTHER about $340... I don't even use the service! I am very disappointed and out of a lot of money.

Called support with a couple of issues. The phone was answered quickly and the firs tech resolved one of my problems. he then switched me to another tech who resolved the other issue. Both were very helpful and knowledgeable. thank you for your help. DK

Dishonest free trial practices

This complaint also concerns the bait-and-switch free trial that Fubo offers. I signed up for a free 7-day trial, canceled the next day, and Fubo charged my account anyway for membership. Instead of doing what is right and just refunding the erroneous charge, they refused, stating two different excuses for the charge—it was a one-day trial, and no trial offer was available at the time—both blatantly false. They are untrustworthy and will continue falsely charging people when they sign up for the free trial until the government intervenes in their shady business practices. Beware.

Fubo's Not really free offer

So I go to sign up for Fubo's Free 7-day use and find out I have to give them my credit card first. Sorry, not interested in having Fubo charge me just because I'm not able to get online and cancel in time. ADIOS AND GOOD RIDDANCE!Dear Fubo, If I wanted a subscription after the FREE offer, I would give you my credit card then, not before. In reality, Fubo just hopes that Free customer will forget to cancel and they can then charge them. As I said before, ADIOS AND GOOD RIDDANCE!
