Edit: I am changing my review to 3 stars because Fubo did eventually refund me, but it took several tweets and messages before they did so. Originally I was just told it was not possible. For these reasons I won't be going higher than 3 stars, I hope they start showing content in both countries because that would erase a lot of the confusion due to geolocking!I signed up for a month of Fubo after reading on their site that a specific sports event was going to be covered. After logging in I couldn't find any of the sport in general let alone this big event. After much research I figured out it must be a regional restriction. I tried to reach out to Fubo and had a long conversation with them about trying to cancel my subscription and get some sort of refund. I had watched ZERO minutes of content, and signed up because of their advertisement of covering a particular event. I would have been happy to have them switch my subscription over to the American version so I could watch it, but they weren't willing to help me or do anything at all. Will never ever sign up again, most companies would be more understanding and let you cancel your subscription 20 seconds after singing up. Not these guys.
Cannot sign up and they say credit company rejects charge. AMEX says nothing came through. Fubo then says they blocked me at their end. New card same issue. Refuse to assist in manual setup. Terrible careless customer service who don't care if your revenue is not added to their service.
I received a free trial email from them after I visited the sign up page. To them signing up through the link means nothing as free trials are not available in Canada. They are not admitting they made a mistake and refuse to refund me the monthly fee. I also had 3 different people reply to me so 3 people said no when a mistake was clearly made by Fubo.*Update* Thanks Fubo for sticking with your lack of assistance!
I subscribed Fubo to watch Italian soccer. The service is RIDICULOUS. Every week and every game there are connections issues. Game start to play later, end earlier, don't connected to the game SOO many times. I called and posted request of assistance every time and all the time same issues. I don't understand how this is possible. How complicated is to fix one issues. That is constantly repeat itself.. . Same one. Come on guys. We pay for a service that we don't get and NO way to be reimbursed or get a discount. Nothing. I honestly don't care about it. I pay for a service and I'd like to hsve my service.Hope other companies will get European soccer next season.
I have read many of your reviews. My experience happened on March 13, 2023, and I cancelled immediately the next day on the 14th or on the 15th, so within that "free trial" experience. I also get these lousy "repetitive" customer service reps on the phone, who seem to just have the same answer memorized that "can't find your cancellation" and so charged, and (the highest amount is charged, i.e. $99). I had this same experience as Paul did in December, and what Fubo wrote back about notifying us when "Free Trial" is about to expire. Here is his issue & Fubo's response which is NOT TRUE.! I only got on for the one day, to see if could access the Padres game, but could never get this! IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, THAT WE ARE NOT "CREDITED" OR GIVEN A "REFUND"! Total increase in fees in excactly 1 year $18.99. IE $5 increase in subscription in 3 months due to increase channels. Like; Home Shopping Network, GetTV and other over air the broadcasts you wouldn't pay for in the 1st place. Then tack on a (without notice) $13.99 Regional Sports fee for events I have no intertest in. Total increase in excactly 1 year $18.99FUBO has gone full cable in their deceptive fees.
My experience with Fubo was one of deception and theft. I got a free trial and cancelled it after two days. I didn’t know until a year later they had been charging me monthly and never cancelled my trial. I called and spoke with agents and they said it did not matter that I not once watched FuboTV I did not properly cancel my trial. This company is irresponsible and callous.
Fubo TV will advertise their Fubo Xtra as $7.99 and then charge you $79.20 per month. I purchased fubo tv subscription to watch the world cup games last year and instead of being charged $7.99 a month I ended up getting charged $158.40 for using the service for a month in a half. I opened up a claim with my bank and was unable to get my money back because fubo tv lied to my bank and the bank basically said that fubo tv the merchant provided all this evidence of subscription and cancellation date and app hours used. When I called Fubo TV they told me that I was scammed and that they could not do anything about the charges, that they have no record of me. Only record is the $158.40 that they charged me. I would not recommend fubo tv, be careful in thinking your signing up for 1 thing and then they end up charging you for another. I signed up for $7.99 and ended up paying $158.40. And the bank could not do anything about it after fubo tv execs sent bogus evidence supporting the charges. BE CAREFUL GIVING CARD INFO. ONCE YOU DO THAT YOUR AUTHORIZING THAT BUSINESS TO STEAL YOUR MONEY WITH THE ONLY SOLUTION BEING A LAWSUIT OR LITIGATION WHICH REGULAR FOLK CAN'T EVEN AFFORD.Fubo Company has responded to my complaint and still does not understand what happpened. I put my card information with a charge of $7.99. But $79.20 was charged from my bank. I never had fubo tv basic nor pro nor any subscription for me to even be charged fubo TV xtra. Your company used deceptive Marketing tactics. I demand a refund of my $158.40 and would be glad to be charged $15.98 as I signed up for.
