Nicked neck, no setup, no QC

Ordered a "Luna Vista Deer Tropical Wood Electro Acoustic W/ Case" from the dutch website. There was no indication that the guitar would be shipped from the UK (this involving customs, etc.), which caused a delay and a lot of hassle. When the guitar arrived, it had a nick on the back of the neck with peeled off lacquer, and apart from that it was not set up at all, having an unplayable high action. Obviously this guitar has not undergone any kind of visual check before leaving the Gear4music store, let alone setup. This is in great contrast with most reputable European music stores, which carefully inspect the instruments and do a setup before shipping. I would not shop from Gear4music again, and I would not recommend this store.UPDATE: i did receive an e-mail from Gear4music, which implies that the damage was somehow made during shipping, which was not the case. The guitar arrived with intact packaging inside a hard case. And the problem has clearly been there from the factory. Gear4music did not bother to look at the instrument at all.

Don't be in a hurry, slow delivery

Don't be in a hurry. Ordered two different items. Order date 06/04/2022 ... still waitingFirst estimated delivery time: 05/05/2022-09/05/2022. Items on stock 09/05/2022, request for new payment (credit card new verification).New message order 24/05/2022Delivery date: 09/06/2023-12/06/2023 (!)New message 13/06/2022 Items are (again) in stock. Request new payment. 4music admitted something went wrong, items will be dispatched todayMessage 16/06/2022 - Everything is now ready, and there was one (???) day delay. Items will be shipped, and expected 29/06/2022 - 30/06/2022Today 30/06/2022, still no products. But... DPD at least has a number: "Order information has been transmitted to DPD".So maybe, maybe I will receive my order in a few days. Who knows. And then I am positive and I assume I will receive what I've ordered. I normally do not post negative reviews. But this is exceptional. Were now >2 months further since ordering, going to 3 months for two cables and two foam... This is not my first purchase at 4music. But this is award winning speed...
