I was able to get somewhat compensated for a faulty product. That was good. The process was rather tedious, time consuming and despite registration of my product at the time of purchase, I still had to provide receipts, dates and painstaking justification for the claim. Is the process designed to make people just walk away? Anyhow. We stuck it out. Answered all questions ad nauseum and finally after weeks of waiting for responses, received the base cost of my item purchase price - minus the taxes paid and minus the actual cost of a replacement product (which was more than the original). All in, I am not sure it was worth the time, effort or final amount received. My takeaway? better to be prepared for items to break down earlier than expected and don’t buy the most expensive options. Save the cost of the insurance and use it towards a replacement cost. I would not insure a lower cost item again. Save this sort of aggravation for the really costly things.
Total SCAM. Filed claims for all the furniture I paid them to protect it and their tactic is to ignore & stonewall every attempt to communciate so they can keep your money. I have an email receipt that says the claim was filed but being that they ignored all my claims for months, their website erased all my claims and they will not return my phone calls or emails. SOMEBODY needs to shut these frauds down. Unbelievable what they can get away with.
TOTAL SCAM! Please read if you wish to join in on my lawsuit against this fraudulent insurance company.Summary: I purchased 5 year coverage on my sofas upon purchase & within 1 year my dog damaged one of the cushions. Following the policies instructions, I made a claim and going through the never-ending circus of questions & requests, they finally ruled they would replace the couch, due to the color I have being discontinued. That was in May 2023....it is now March 2024 and NOTHING! I never received the replacement couch as they promised & I have followed up 7 times between May 2023 & March 2024, radio silence.After reading deeply into all of the negative reviews, I am confident I am not the only customer this company has scammed/defrauded. I am moving to engage my attorney to go after this company. They collected the premium and failed to perform by the contract we both as parties are bound to. This is absolutely a FRAUDULENT company! This company I believe is a scam. My protection plan clearly states that my product is covered by pet stains. After submitting pictures and writing about what happened, 2 days later on a Friday at 4:30pm I get a request for additional information. I can not get a hold of anyone in customer service. I paid good money for this item and I was never told this was a third party insurance company. I really feel like this is a scam and reading the reviews I think my suspicion if accurate. Make sure to read the reviews about third party vendors. These people are just out to get your money and not give you the services you pay for. If you see that Mulberry is the protection company for your merchandise. Do your research and if you can insure your product with a different company if possible.
The zipper on one of my couch cushions ripped. Should be a pretty straightforward fix, right? WRONG. In the past year, two "technicians" came to our house to look at the cushion and assured me we would get a new one. We have been waiting since last Fall and NOTHING. This is a SCAM!
How many hoops! Remember to make sure you want to sign up for unending hoops. They advertise quick resolution - lie. Started claim in January, submitted all docs and photos and more photos, and more docs. Now they want to send someone to my house to confirm the dogs accident is real. Enough already. Unfortunately, the process is hidden in the fine print.
