They literally just ignored me. I filed a claim via the website in August, answered the follow-up questions they sent, and never received a reply, despite continuing to reach out, even with a separate email to their customer service. Completely ghosted.
After starting my claim and its approval I waited a week to Cash Out My Coins before sending my 1st email regarding the delay. After a few days I had written 2 more emails before receiving a response. My claim was then updated and the funds were “available” to “Cash Out My Coins.”I again had to wait because the “ACH Processing System” was down. I again had to email support for help. I don’t think that I would use this service again in the future if I have a choice of extended warranty service.
So I had an item reimbursed by Mulberry. They told me the money would be available to withdraw there within 7-10 business days. On the 12th business day I had to contact them to release the funds to their "coin system". After it was released (immediately after they replied to my email.) The coins are then redeemed by way of an ACH deposit to your bank account. I proceed to insert my information, press submit to deposit the funds into my account. When I pressed submit I get an error saying that right now ACH transfer is unavailable. I contacted them about the error and so far it's been 3 days and I've heard nothing back.
Update: I finally got approved claim and replacement item. The facts are as described below. Really don’t know if I spent the last two weeks interacting with a bot. I purchased the top tier warranty through Mulberry I have not received feedback nonetheless any type of replacement or repair of my item. I even attempted to contact the CEO! This has to be the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered! Unfortunately I didn’t have a choice Mirror/ Lululemon directed me to Mulberry. The company won’t take calls or return them either!
Complete scam. Horrible company. Do not get their insurance. Couch got damaged from a stain. They sent a tech to my house. The tech couldn't remove the stain. Actually made it worse. The couch cost me $4300. They sent me credit for $380. They have no contact number. No explanation. Not answering my emails. How is this company still in business? It seems like they make people buy the insurance then went its time to pay out, they only pay a little more than what you bought the insurance for. They will never pay you for what the actual damage is. Look at the other reviews. They all say the same. I suggest to STAY AWAY from this company.
A complete scam. I knew right away when I was pushed to the side for months with no reply. I kept hounding them, this went on for over 4 months. I finally received a new email this Jan 2024 claiming it was “verbatim” (yet there’s no actual email, no receipt, just the claim they sent it in Sept, a month before 2 more emails went out to them) that my claim wouldn’t be met because the damage was due to normal use. When that’s exactly why I put in a claim, it’s not normal wear, it’s in fact a ruined rug from normal vacuuming. The insurance was supposed to cover everything even pet damage that was the whole purpose of getting it. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother getting this insurance!
