I received a $200 virtual gift card for a holiday gift and tried to use it today, but it was declined. Upon checking the website for the balance, I discovered two transactions made from a department store that I did not authorize, as I only attempted to use it on a popular online retailer. I’m quite upset about this, and so is the person who gifted it to me. This feels like a scam!
Even after registering and waiting three days, the card was declined by a popular retailer, similar to another card my daughter received as a gift. Checking the balance showed the funds were there, yet there was no record of any attempted transactions, and the 'contact us' option wasn’t functional. My only options were to call during business hours or send a letter. It shouldn’t be this complicated. I’ve asked the gift giver not to purchase these anymore. Update: a review site is saying I need to provide my phone number or my review will be flagged as not genuine. I refuse to share my phone number, so it seems I can't leave an honest review without giving personal information. What is going on?

Steer clear of this service! They took my money and then made it impossible for the recipient to register the card for use via their ineffective website, which has zero customer support! Be cautious; they deduct a monthly service fee that drains the account, which you cannot access. I foresee a class action lawsuit in this company’s future!
This is a complete scam. I received two gift cards from my workplace. After registering, both cards were drained within minutes for online gambling, and the company was unhelpful, requiring proof that I didn’t make those purchases. It’s a total scam, and I will never use this service again.

UPDATE: Do not respond to customer service emails asking for information to assist you! They request the card number, and now the card has been fraudulently used! This is an even bigger nightmare! There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Someone drained the remaining balance through fraudulent transactions, and when I attempt to file a claim, the options provided are nonsensical. There’s no confirmation email after filing, and I can’t even view the card details because I reported it as stolen! This is the absolute WORST. My spouse received this card for working during the holidays! Where is the money, and what will happen now? Nothing? AVOID. SCAM. Why is this company still operating? Look at all these negative experiences with no recourse! They are rejecting refunds, and I am currently out both money and merchandise. There’s no customer service number to call; the number on the card is just an automated system that offers no help. They display a logo indicating it’s insured, but they do not provide the same service and protection. You can respond to this all you want with 'contact customer service at this email,' but I have tried everything, AND YOU HAVE NOT ASSISTED. I AM WAITING FOR A RESPONSE.
I received a gift card and tried to register it. I couldn’t do it online because it required a 16-digit card number, but my card only had 15 digits. I called customer service (a misnomer) and waited for 15 minutes. I eventually spoke with someone who transferred me to another department that didn’t answer. After 20 minutes, I hung up. I suspect the company is quite profitable, taking people's money without any obligation to return it.
