I had a very disappointing experience with Giftory.
On December 28, 2025, I purchased four San Diego Zoo tickets through Giftory for $249.60. I received an order confirmation and an email stating that they had contacted the zoo, but I never received the actual tickets.
Since I did not receive the tickets and was not getting a timely or clear response, I had to purchase the tickets directly from the San Diego Zoo using a different credit card to avoid disrupting my plans.
I contacted Giftory multiple times the same day to report that I never received the tickets. After several back-and-forth emails, I was told that because I had opened a dispute with my credit card company, they could not issue a refund through their system.
At the end of the day, I paid for a service that was never delivered. The lack of timely fulfillment and resolution was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend purchasing time-sensitive tickets through Giftory.
Hidden terms, shady business tactics. I gifted a voucher it didn't mention any limitations for redemption, support said I could redeem anytime. Yet after purchasing I couldn't redeem and they said I need to book activity weeks in advance which wasn't communicated anywhere and support reps said I could redeem anytime before purchase. The recipient didn't even get the voucher automatically and they don't pick up calls. I asked for refund over email which they take ages to respond and then they say I'm past the refund time they can only offer exchange which seems deliberate scam. It's not my fault you takes weeks to respond email. I want money back in my card don't want to do any business with you.
I spent $400 on my husband’s giftory only to give him a huge headache on his BD. It says the hotel is booked but the restaurant never confirmed. Then we tried to confirm the hotel and they asked for a confirmation number that giftory never gave us, and guess what? Now can’t check in, we can’t cancel it, and it is not refundable. Now I feel like a Karen on the phone with them because Giftory doesn’t have a phone number for us to contact them and it takes them TWO whole weeks to reply to our emails so next time I’ll get a response from them my husband will be one year older.
We do not deserve it at all when we are gifting a beloved one who only deserves the best. I am very frustrated.
Very poor operation. Bought 2 tickets for a gift (Oz at the Sphere) and they provided 2 gift vouchers that COULD NOT be combined! Expected clients to not sit together! Really!! After several attempts to get fixed with no phone and very delayed email support advised its a 5 day turn around to try to get this done. What a mess. NEVER use this ticket reseller or whatever it is.
5 Stars. I hope this message reaches the customer support team so they can finally respond to my emails and alert others about the difficulties of booking an experience through this platform. To summarize, the customer service response time has been unacceptable. I've been waiting for about a week for confirmation regarding a time-sensitive cooking class (scheduled for Valentine’s Day weekend, with limited options available). Since my confirmed booking request submitted on 1/15, I haven't been able to reach anyone. I've contacted the support team three times already without any reply. At this point, I would like a refund, as the class my partner and I are interested in will likely not be available, and I prefer to find a cooking class elsewhere.
It’s a good deal, but I won’t be making another purchase. I tried to redeem the tickets on the app and added the vouchers to my cart. However, I realized I had selected the wrong time, so I canceled that transaction and began booking the correct date and time. When I entered the voucher number, it said it was already redeemed because I had previously entered it in the other transaction, which I never completed. I contacted support to explain the situation, but they informed me there was nothing they could do since it was handled through a third party.
The customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I arranged an escape room for my family, and now I'm being told that I need to choose my top three dates and they will "get back to me." Additionally, I must book at least 10 days in advance, which was not mentioned during the ticket purchase. No one is available to take my calls, and responses to my emails take 5 to 7 business days. This is not acceptable. I do NOT recommend this service. It’s better to spend an extra $30 on tickets elsewhere.
I received the wrong redemption code for a service in the USA instead of the Canadian version, which I cannot use. Mistakes can happen, but messaging customer support daily for over two weeks only to hear that my issue has been escalated with no real resolution is frustrating. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR MISTAKE!!! As of now, I feel cheated out of $100.
I was able to use the chat to quickly speak with a human and resolve my issue. Justin gave me an easy to understand response that was from a real human. Overall, giftory has such a fun and wide range of options for gifts. I'll definitely use it again.
