I found a debit card in an elementary school playground. It took 13 minutes of me talking to the auto attendant to actually get an agent to report this lost card. I think someone with less patience would never be a good Samaritan and report it and possibly try to use it. I know this is the world we live in but this type of debit card for students should be much easier of a navigation to get an actual agent to report a lost card if you are not a green card member.
This is the second card I have received for my child from Greenlight due to unauthorized charges on my account. The first incident occurred at 2 a.m. on a weeknight. Initially, Greenlight approved my fraud claim and reversed the charge, but later denied it after I received a new card, asserting that my child had made the transaction and took the money that was rightfully mine.About two months later, after I received the new card, another unauthorized transaction occurred. This time, it was for paying a bill. That's right—a bill! Apparently, my young teen has bills to pay. Fortunately, the transaction was denied due to insufficient funds. Unfortunately, if the card had enough funds, the transaction would have gone through, and I would be fighting with the fraud department yet again over another unauthorized charge. What is happening with the security on your cards? Please improve it.
