I have been a user for a number of years and I placed an order before Christmas and paid for it through Paypal and it was never delivered thanks to the wonderful Evri and their ongoing failures to successfully operate a delivery service. Anyway, when Evri eventually admitted they’d lost the package, and I requested refund, Alibaba only refunded part of the payment saying they wouldn’t pay any import taxes incurred relating to the purchase.
I have now tried repeatedly to cancel my Alibaba user account on their system and the pin required to do this is never sent to my email account. I have tried the online help service, and they just told me to try what I already had done numerous times, when I said this failed to provide a pin they then gave me an email address to write to and cancel my account, that was nearly a month ago and I’ve had no response and the account is still active.
They also constantly send out email and txt promotions with items at attractive prices but when you click on the item it takes you to a different product all together, what a waste of time.
This platform is not operating within any form legitimate business rules that we have or expect in the UK, and I’m just fortunate my purchase was a small one and not something very expensive, as I would have been left well out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
Save yourself the hassle and stay well clear of Alibaba!, from now on, I certainly will.
What a load of rubbish. Bought a phone which I had seen reviewed and ignored what the seller was advertising. The seller advertised the phone as having 1tb of memory and 16gb of ram. I knew this was wrong as I know the phone should only have 256gb of memory and 8gb ram. What I didn't expect was that they would clone a phone which was already a budget phone and send me a load of garbage. They sent a phone with only 16gb memory and 2gb ram. When I tried to send the item back they made it very difficult. I don't want their products but they wouldn't accept my return request. Stay well clear of this site. Sticking with AliExpress in the future. Never had a problem with items or return requests.App now deleted. If only there was an option for 0 stars would be more suitable

I have used Alibaba for 5 years but in the last 18 months, there has been a switch in perspective by the Chinese as to you buy it, its your problem. The sellers and people who run it seem to be the same people. Thy can liaise outside of the platform and speak in Chinese should the goods not arrive or be defective. I wont be buying anything again from them after they refused to refund me for faulty goods. The seller didnt even put up an argument and they wanted me to take a picture of 1000 items all defective on a floor space. You are lyign to them until you prove otherwise is the way they look at it, no matter what. Do not buy anything from them as you are on your own - You have to get your money back through the bank
I paid USD 350 for a shipment with Zhimei Express International Freight Forwarding, fully agreed for 750 kg, door-to-door (DDP).What went wrong: • The agent transferred my cargo to another agent without my consent. • I have lost all tracking of the goods. • Multiple agents are now demanding additional payments (USD 1060) with no explanation or cost breakdown. • My original payment of USD 350 has not been returned.This behavior is misleading, extorting, and violates Alibaba’s Trade Assurance policies. I urge Alibaba to take immediate action and protect buyers.
Alibaba and aliexpress your support is unhelpful after 12 days 20 support visits still get the same answers that DONT work because the stupidity of support unable to read simple instructions and the escalated team is worse, unhelpful,l unuseable un uneducated.WELL ELIEXPRESS L PLACED A VERY LARGE ORDER ON TEMU AND WILL NOT BUY FOR MY BUSINESS HERE EVER AGAIN AND ALSO WILL CLOSE MY ALIBABA TRADE ACCOUNT
Alibaba now allows fraudulent sellers on its platformI contacted a shipping agent and everything looked legit. After the agent received my goods for shipping, she forwarded my order to another store that she owns with a terrible account and a lots of negative reviews. This same agent then used the new store to raise an invoice with complete lies. Firstly, the invoice shows sale of 400 beads ( I never bought beads, I only wanted her to ship my goods) then the wrong amount. I then refused to pay for or approve an invoice that clearly states the wrong transaction. How is a seller able to raise false invoice and not care if Alibaba finds out about it? How is this allowed on their platform?. Raising a completely false invoice. Seems Alibaba customer service are aware of this scam on their platforms and there’s nothing being done to resolve it.The seller now has my goods and has stopped responding to my questions. Not sure what to do. We’ve lost money and still don’t have the good.
