AVOID MANCHESTER OFFICE

AVOID MANCHESTER OFFICE!There is a reason this place is £2k.The place is unclean.Technicians do 95% of the work. They will sell you extra services on the operating table and refuse to refund you the next day when you change your mind. (after days of emails/calls being ignored). They pressure you into leaving a good review on here before you leave.Having to go through small claims court.

Dr Munir

It’s rare that I leave reviews, I only do it for exceptional service, and this was one of those times. The team asked me on the day if I would leave them a review and I said I would do it when I got home.I had my FUE transplant yesterday with Dr Munir and the team at Hair Growth Centre, in Manchester. I’m 32 and have been on finasteride and minoxidil for a few years. My hair loss had mostly stabilised, but I was still thinning and decided to go for it after doing plenty of research. I managed to get a deal that included a free PRP session, and I chose to upgrade to HFC for more consistent results.I arrived feeling understandably anxious, but the team were friendly, professional, and put me at ease straight away. The clinic is quite understated from the outside, but inside it’s clean, efficient and well organised. After a short consultation and blood pressure check, I met with Dr Munir. He talks very quickly and you can tell he’s done this 10,000s of times. We worked together quickly on the new hairline and discussed what was achievable in terms of grafts and density, it’s important to note having read through the bad reviews myself and knowing that hair is your identity, and how important it is for you to get it right. Try and trust the team and their experience on what is possible. I then had a short back and sides in the next room before going back to the operation room. The anaesthetic was the most uncomfortable part, but it was over in about 10 minutes. After that, the day was smooth. The team looking after me, Lei, Alex and Angie later on were fantastic along with supporting nurses who were there to aid and separate out my grafts. They kept me comfortable, explained everything clearly and were quick to offer top ups of the anaesthetic, apologising profusely if I felt any pain or letting me adjust when I needed to. I tend to get headaches and they were very accommodating. The whole procedure took all day. I had somewhere between 3200 and 3500 grafts thanks to a strong donor area. Dr Munir handled the incisions himself and made final tweaks to the hairline to make sure it looked right. Big thanks to Alex in particular for all the advice and reassurance throughout.Dr Munir is trying to get around 10 surgeries a day and they stagger people out through the morning so he can do a 10 minute consultation with each and half an hour with the incisions. This is the reason the surgeries are affordable compared to other uk companies and competitive with Turkey. Trust that the team are skilled in what they do would be my advice, I asked them about their experience and my particular surgeons all had 5 years+ either here or at different clinics.Overall I left feeling really happy with how it all went and can’t wait to see the results come through in the coming months. I’ll update this review further down the line, but so far I would absolutely recommend them. I held off for so long and so far wish I had done it sooner!

My Detailed Hair Transplant Experience…

My Detailed Hair Transplant Experience with Dr. Vishal NayakI recently underwent a hair transplant at the Romford branch, and I wanted to give an honest, thorough account for anyone considering the same clinic or surgeon. To start with, my anxiety was sky-high when I arrived. The outside of the Romford branch looked run down and dirty, and my nerves only worsened when I stepped inside. After seeing all the immaculate, glossy clinics advertised in Turkey, I had expected something similar. Instead, it felt like I’d walked into a simple shopfront. It wasn’t the polished environment I had pictured, and at first this really unsettled me.But one piece of advice kept coming back to me from all the research I had done: “Research the surgeon, not the clinic.” This is something you cannot reliably do with many overseas clinics, which are often described as “hair mills.” What reassured me during my decision-making was that I had been able to speak directly with the surgeon himself, Dr. Vishal Nayak, in a full 20-minute phone consultation. Not a coordinator, not an assistant — the surgeon. He came across as friendly, accommodating and genuinely invested, and it gave me real confidence moving forward. When I arrived on the day of the procedure, Dr. Nayak met with me again to discuss my goals. I told him I wanted a straighter hairline. He immediately and respectfully declined. He explained that it would not suit my face and that he would not compromise his reputation or my final look. This was a key moment for me: he was clearly willing to lose a patient rather than do something he didn’t believe in ethically or professionally. That honesty made me trust him even more. He drew a new, more natural hairline, and both my partner and I agreed it looked perfect. From there, we moved into the surgical room. Two nurses shaved my head and administered the local anaesthetic. I won’t sugar-coat it: those five minutes were the most painful part of the whole experience. Around 40 injections to the front and back of the head — absolutely not “painless,” no matter what some people say. I have a high pain tolerance, but that part was rough. Once the anaesthetic kicked in, though, everything was smooth. The first four hours were dedicated to extracting the follicles from the donor area. After that I was given lunch — a Tesco meal deal, simple but appreciated given how long the day is. Then Dr. Nayak returned to make the incisions in the recipient area, and the nurses completed the implantation meticulously. My results so far have been remarkable. My only regret is not doing this sooner. At the four-month mark, I returned for a PRP session. I had to travel almost five hours, and because it was late on a Friday afternoon, the staff told me a review with the surgeon normally wouldn’t happen at that time. But Dr. Nayak stayed behind specifically because he knew I was an anxious patient and had asked for a check-in. When he saw my results, he was genuinely impressed — and so was I. It was incredible to see that much progress so early.I truly cannot recommend Dr. Vishal Nayak enough. Although the company has multiple clinics much closer to me — in Leeds, Manchester and other cities between Hull and Romford — I was willing to travel all the way past them because I trusted him. And he proved that trust was well-placed.If you’re someone researching clinics and feeling overwhelmed, take my experience to heart: the surroundings might not look like a glossy Turkish clinic, but the skill, integrity and personal involvement of the surgeon are what matter most. And in that regard, Dr. Nayak is exceptional.

My PRP sessions with Dr Masood were very helpful. I didn't expect big changes but after four treatments I see baby hairs around my temples. The clinic staff are friendly. They gave me a mini gift pack with Hair serum and vitamins after each session. Dr Masood explained how often to come back and told me realistic results. I felt no pain at all, just a tiny sting. The place is clean and feels relaxing. I would recommend PRP here if you don't want surgery right away

Terrible Service

My experience with this hair growth centre has been extremely disappointing and, in my view, highly unprofessional. I feel it is important to share my experience so that others are aware of the difficulties I encountered.Despite providing medical evidence to support my concerns, I was not offered a refund, nor did I receive any clear communication regarding the clinic’s position. I made multiple journeys to the clinic and numerous phone calls in an effort to resolve the matter, yet my enquiries were repeatedly ignored or left unanswered with little clarity on informed decisions .On the day of the scheduled procedure, the attending doctors declined to proceed and did not carry out an adequate assessment or monitoring of my condition. No explanation was given regarding next steps or how the situation would be handled, particularly in relation to the financial aspect of the service.I ultimately had to issue a legal notice simply to obtain acknowledgment of my complaint, as the clinic provided no clarity or direction throughout the process. I was continually passed between members of staff without any meaningful assistance or accountability.Based on my experience, the level of service was far below acceptable standards. I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic, and I hope my review helps others make a more informed decision. After careful consideration I have taken it in my hands to legally handle the clinic and the stress that this situation has caused.

From the very first consultation at the Birmingham clinic, I felt reassured. The clinic was clean, the team were welcoming, and the atmosphere didn’t feel rushed or pushy. I met with Mohammed, one of the consultants, and he gave me all the time I needed to ask questions, talk about my expectations, and understand how the whole process works. He even showed me his own results, which looked incredible, and shared honest insights about what to expect.
