Bought a king size bed Marston Oak Wooden Platform Bed, when a new mattress Dormeo Octasmart - King (150 x 200 cm) was put on the bed frame, unfortunately it didn't fit as it should and left bigger gaps on each side which doesn't look right ( the floor underneath and wooden slats are visible ).
It has sharp edges and corners and its MDF frame edges happened to be scratched just by placing/sliding mattress on it.
Please don't buy this bed, in reality it looks very cheap (unlike in photos).

We purchased a bed from Happy Beds around three years ago, and the frame has already bent, leading to significant back pain. When we contacted the company, we were told this issue wasn’t covered under the warranty we were assured of at the time of purchase. After several emails, Happy Beds have simply refused to help and taken no responsibility for the fault.

What makes this even more concerning is that we bought the same bed again a year later, and that version had noticeably stronger support built in. This clearly suggests they were aware of a design flaw in the original model, yet they still refuse to offer any resolution for the defective product they sold us.

We will not be using Happy Beds again.
Poor product quality.
Poor customer service.
A complete lack of care for their customers.

I experienced an issue with the delivery of my Ottoman bed. Unfortunately, when I checked the delivery, it soon became apparent that there were two boxes marked 'Box One of Two, Box Two of Two' was not present. I emailed Happy Beds & Sophie quickly replied, after a couple of emails back & forth, Sophie arranged for the wrong box to be exchanged for the correct box. I have now built up my Ottoman bed & I'm very happy with it. It's sturdy & comfortable & I now have loads of storage space.

Timely delivery with minor assembly issues

Items were delivered on schedule and placed directly in the bedroom. However, one of the instructions was inaccurate, making the assembly of the six-drawer unit somewhat challenging. Additionally, the drawer bottoms on the bedside unit did not align properly with the grooves. A bit more attention to detail in the instructions regarding part numbering and quality control during manufacturing would be appreciated. Thank you!

Extremely Frustrating Experience with Delivery

I ordered a bed for my son and paid a £25 delivery fee for a quick setup in his room upstairs. First issue: I received a message Thursday night stating the bed would arrive between 7:15am and 9:15am on Friday. Since it’s a small room, I got up early to take apart his cot bed and prepare the space for the boxes. My husband took the cot bed to the skip, and I cleared my schedule to assemble the new bed. At 8:23am, I got a message saying there was an issue and I would receive an update in 48 hours. After dismantling my son’s bed, I called for clarification. I was informed there wasn't enough space on the lorry, but they might fit it onto another vehicle later. I received an email at 11:43am indicating it was on a backup vehicle and that the driver would call 30 minutes before arrival. At 1:39pm, I saw on the app that it was out for delivery. By 5:10pm, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called again. I was told the truck would leave at 6pm, with several deliveries before mine. When I asked for an estimated time, I was told around 8pm but advised to call back at 7:15pm for an update, though I doubted it would help. The bed finally arrived at 9:40pm, far too late for me to assemble it; my son had to sleep on the sofa at 7pm. When it arrived, the scanning code didn't work, and I had to wait for the delivery person to call the office for a code—adding to the chaos on a Friday night. The next morning, I started building the bed only to find the first set of screws was missing. I attempted to use the 'missing parts' form online, but it wouldn’t let me submit without a photo, and I couldn’t upload one! A frustrating process. I tried to call for help, but the lines were closed for the weekend. It seems my 3-year-old will be on the sofa for a few more nights until the parts arrive and I can build the bed (I work Monday to Thursday). This has been an enormous headache. I wouldn't recommend this service; there are much better furniture suppliers that offer superior service.
