Review Time
I am with Haventree because my family and I were initially robbed by a criminal mortgage broker named Talvinder Batth of Bayfield mortgages for over 35k in damages and almost a year straight of 7% interest only with a C lender (friends of his)! This was back when rates were 1.45 and I was promised and gaslight by the narcissist that I would have 5 years with that but 2 days before I was suppose to move in he said that mortgage is no longer available but he had a backup mortgage ready (though he still took almost a month to finalize that and we had to push the move in date almost a month and were threatened by the developer we’d get charged almost $300 a day if we don’t settle asap). I had been saving up and dreaming of buying my first home since I was a kid and was utterly devastated and had all my savings stolen by him and had to cash my retirement plan to afford the insane interest only charges and he has done it to many others and being investigated by BCFSA head Todd Healey since 2021. I have been paying lawyer fees that long and maxed out small claim court amount which is $35,000. He also robbed someone for 20k with a kid with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer and she never got that money back to help treatments for the kid. His budgets were way off and always promised no lender or broker fees!! Quite the opposite was the case. Luckily I got a different broker to save me from him after he said he’d give me around $2500 back to apologize for what he did if I’d give him 6k more and stay with him another year but I got someone else to help me get away from him (after paying insane made up exit fees from both first circle financial and freedom capitol somehow had an interest in this robbery like sharks in the water seeing blood). Luckily I got into 2.99 rate (though offered 2.69 with Talvinder but wanted away from him and his mind games and constant ghosting/going into hiding). Then the next year the mortgage doubled to 6.99 (the originally robbery rate) then Maria told me it would only be for a year so just do one year - I listened but now rates are mid 8’s even though all my friends have 5.45% and they said that was rates are suppose to be and this one is way inflated like greed or taking advantage of vulnerable people backed into a corner and being bullied and harassed like a kid in school by people in a power position that have the ability to do this and treat their fellow human beings and families this way. Should be some interesting karma for people who do this to others as we are all connected and what hurts one of us hurts us all. I am a first responder and save lives and do search and rescue and feel totally abused in my situation and wish management or haventree would understand my situation and show their level of compassion and common human courtesy and human decency. Helping others is what life is about and is what I dedicate all my energy too and go above and beyond to save others and transport them to hospital and take care of them until they calm down and get the right treatment. Wish haventree would do the same back as us first responders deserve it after these last three years of hell and strikes. Praying for help from someone reading this that still has a heart in their chest after these difficult years and is using these dark times to spread their light and good character qualities developed and not taking advantage of others and hurting families and making them make countless sacrifices of not affording sports and good quality groceries on the table so they can pay more interest to people to line their back pockets and buy Teslas etc or that may potentially be greedy and serve the almighty dollar. Hope we all come together and change this old way of living and remember who we truly are and help people and first responders if they are in a extenuating circumstance instead of rear-ending them and their families this Christmas while they are just trying to celebrate and serve others and lead by example and not be putting items from their food cart back of the shelf for Haventree profit. Al was great to deal with though and gave me a good mental health talk to not feel guilty or shame for what happened when I was robbed and that he has heard of these stories and knows that it happens - but had never met any victims until we chatted on the phone. He at least showed some care on the personal level and I got to share how this whole thing affected my family and loved ones and altered our lives. I’ll definitely be picking up as many onetime shifts as I can to pay that interest rate which sucks because then you don’t get to come home to your family for dinner which is what keeps good families together and be a good parent and raise kids that contribute to society and be great people of character and serve others. Haventree is the worst bank ever. They pre-approved my loan, made me get an appraisal at my expense which cost me $500, even after sending them many many documents, they denied my loan. Why would they get clients to pay for an appraisal that is expensive as it is and just deny their claim. This bank is nothing but a fraud.I spoke with Hassan Wardhere from Haventree after my initial review above, Hassam basically told me that my loan was approved in August and everything was ready to go. The reason my loan didnt go through was because it was my fault. And he also told me that he would try and get my appraisal fee reimbursed just to tell me the next day they cannot do this. What a joke of a bank. They call you just to pretend to rectify the situation but all they do is waste more of your time just to give you a denial over the phone.
I had a young man, Alex, looking after me as I was renewing my mortgage. My brother wanted to know every angle that Haventree does renewing a mortgage and had loads of questions... He patiently answered every question in detail. And finally my brother was happy for me to go ahead with the renewal. (I was going to go with you anyways...lol). My brother loves me. .lol Alex persevered since Nov. Of 2023 to Jan 2024.
