Very good service, very easy to use with nice support. It is a very comforting feeling to be able to contact support in a reasonable time at the place that holds a most of your savings. Only let down for me is the slightly lacking app functionality for an online only bank.
Karen Cartwright and Kim Bell were the jackarses that dealt to us. Bunch of w_nkers cancelled our accounts without warning or explanation. Lucky they were secondary banking. No explanation was forthcoming, have lodged a complaint with the ombudsman, not that they are much help. Avoid like the plague if you are a business, my theory is it was racially motivated, that's the only explanation for refusing to answer our questions. Their rates and fees are overblown also.
Horrible service applied for a part loan around $7k for a vehicle of which i could afford no problem, got told by Joel Felizardo after severe micro managing and questions on little amounts of spending that I was living above my means, even though I am banking into a savings account $200+ dollars a week in excess cash. If you are considering finance give these guys a wide berth.
Fantastic customer service! Heartland is always helpful and goes the extra mile to help me out when I call. They are also great at organising loans and refinancing them if its needed. Customer service agents are always so friendly and helpful.
I was introduced to Heartland via a broker and happy that the loan was approved. I have found the experience abit disjointed. Initially the incorrect loan amount was sent through and felt like I was flying blind at one stage but we got their in the end. I have found the on-boarding process quite disjointed and incomplete. I have not as yet spoken to anyone but their email correspondence is quite responsive. I have rated you as a three as I see there are some areas that should be expected and by implementing them you could make some quick improvements.
We are a small business who wanted to expand our revenue by introducing a new service which required specialized equipment form the UK. We had been with our current bank for 16 years but after waiting for 1 month to get a reply from them we decided to try Heartland. The loan was approved within 3 days and and a week later we ordered our equipment. We were very impressed with the service and up to date technology which meant the process was seamless and stress free. We would 100% use Heartland again.
