Pretty accurate and easy to use

Ordered the Aktiia bp monitoring bracelet and it arrived quickly a couple of days later. Paired up easily. Charged and all working ok. Unfortunately I get regular un-pairings and sometimes takes a while for it to show on readings on the app. It is quite accurate when comparing it with other methods.

I have used my Aktiia for many years now and I love it. Just upgraded to the waterproof one. I go swimming 5 days a week most of the time I forget to take it off. It’s a 24hr monitor, so it’s easy to forget you are wearing it. No more pesky arm blood pressure taking. Although you do have to do this once a month. Just to re-initialise it. Brilliant product for me.

Good piece of equipment

Good piece of equipment. Very easy to use and understand. Just one problem however, the readings given have always been higher than when using a normal blood pressure monitor.

I'm having real difficult getting any…

Id like to amend this review. My hilo is working well and i greatly appreciated it recently when i needed to monitor my bp. My allergy to the strap has improved and i think was probably aggravated by being too tight on my wrist. The charger is still a bit tricky, it really needs improving, but i just persevere. The only real downside is that customer services never got back to me, hence only three stars. Taking interest in your customers issues is important. But I would recommend this product, particularly the one that doesnt need calibrating. That can be a faff, but the product is a good one and is improving all the time.Sorry for another one. My second charging lead has arrived from Amazon, as with the other two it remains a poor fit, and i fear damage to the internal mechanism of both the charger and the cuff. I would put this down to a potential 'one off' problem, but ive had two chargers now, and both have had an uncomfortable fit with the charging lead. Other customers may comment and say they dony have a problem, and ive just been unlucky. However, i feel after my experience that i wouldnt biy either thos product or from this company again. Read through all this if you want to know more.A further update, but i suggest if youre thinking of buying from this company than you read all of my comments. Re the charging lead. A friend of mine is great with tech, and he asked me to send photos of the fittings on the cable lead. He identified that I needed a USB to Micro-USB Type-B. I ordered one from Amazon, and it arrived a few moments ago. It works although it remains precarious- there is a red light that shows when its charging and it is still going on and off, so charging will continue to take a while. In addition to this, I need to say that if you are sensitive to silicon this bracelet might not be for you. I reacted to an ordinary grade silicon bracelet, a fitbit if i remember correctly, but i could wear it for about 7 days. I thought medical grade silicon (which the aktiia bracelet is made of) wouldnt be any worse, and likely better, but i can only wear this for two days before my skin blisters. That suits me as i only use it to monitor my normal bp for a couple of days every week or so, but if you need it for more than this, request a trial with it first. I still haven't had a reply from Aktiia support (you'd think they could at least have let me have the name of the type of lead I needed) . However Trustpilot have said Aktiia have asked for more details, which I have given. If they respond you will see it below. Please also note that I have never given anyone a poor review on Trustpilot, and my concerns are genuine.Previous addendum to this review. Please note, i have been informed by the company that they dont have any replacement charging leads, the one in the kit is the only one they provide. So I cannot use this expensive piece of kit as my kead is faulty. This is obviously crazy, as charging leads often become defunct, and for everything else i own i can get spares easily. Ive asked them to review this situation, prior to taking it up with my MP, as its clearly a situation that leaves purchasers in limbo - had i known that couldnt get a replacement charging cable i would never have bought from them. I'll update this post when there's a resolution. In the meantime, buyer beware.I 'm having real difficult getting any help ordering a new charging cable lead. I've already received a replacement charger, but it turns out that it's the lead that's faulty. I've been referred to a page where I can order anything but a charging lead, and am getting pretty desperate as I've been without my monitor for three weeks. Cable charging leads go wrong so often, and all my other devices like phone, fit bit, etc provide new charging leads so readily, from a variety of sources, but this is proving to be an uphill struggle. Amazon etc doesn't stock them. I don't want to make a formal complaint through some gvt body, but equally I can't wait much longer. Can anyone help me please, as it increasingly looks like this was a poor investment.

It's alright...could be better.

While the readings are good thing and seem to be consistent, it is rather annoying that you put out the new "better" version after I had purchased this first version of the product. I find that my device battery drains rather quickly....from 100 down to 40's in 5-6 days. Also, often whenever i manually refresh, the app will say "unable to connect with the device" and i have to refresh and try again??

Device works really well

Device works really well Needs to be available in USA. I have mine to my sister who could download the app in the UK. The company offered a refund/ return as it can’t download an iPhone based in USA

Don’t buy it. It’s not accurate

The bracelet is a neat enough thing but I am sceptical as to how accurate it is. When I get a reading of it and check against my calibrated cuff I think it under reads by about 10% on both readings. It also seems to struggle taking readings.I can go all day at work with no readings. I tried to return it as I’m unhappy with and received a copy of the manual. Can’t say I recommend it

Love the idea but signal issues make it unworkable at times. Initialisation equally tricky. Shame because the idea is fantastic
