I’ve been using the Hilo blood-pressure monitor for a few months now, and it’s been a total game-changer. Setup was super easy, which is a testament to how thoughtful their designers are. It's not easy to get someone to calibrate the device myself, but they designed an intuitive and smooth experience and product. The band is so comfortable I barely notice it, and the occasional recalibration is a welcome nudge to keep my readings spot-on. The measurements align reasonably well with my cuff readings, yet having continuous tracking gives me insight into my blood pressure like never before. If you’re serious about accuracy and daily peace of mind, I'd highly recommend Hilo.
The set up and calibration is very straightforward and user-friendly. The strap itself is generally comfortable and hardly noticeable. I have been using my monitor for a few weeks now and it’s been working reliably with no apparently spurious data. The only thing I don’t like is that the system doesn’t allow users to download their data in a useable format like a csv file.
it was not clear to me that the product cannot be returned after 14 days.As soon as the package is opened it cannot be returned.I have tried many times to get the product to give accurate results of my blood pressure but it won't.it is always way too high
Not sure where all the bad reviews came from? My experience has been fantastic. Can't use the normal home blood pressure kit as it bruises my arm terribly and the doctor regularly likes readings so went for Atkiia. Easy to order, easy to set up and easy to understand the readings. Pretty accurate and the cuff doesn't overinflate leaving you in bruises either when first setting it up. The only downside is that when u take it off to have a shower for instance it still takes a reading and no way to delete this. Useful piece of kit. Can show the doctor at my next appointment. Charger difficult to find when opening package as is so small and light luckily didn't throw out with the packaging.
I purchased the Aktiia blood pressure monitor and found it to be extremely accurate and reliable. I have checked the readings against an Omron arm blood pressure machine and the readings are the same taking in to account Aktiia readings are an average of multiple readings. Aktiia has helped me see where my blood pressure spikes so I can change my lifestyle. I would recommend this product to anyone concerned about their blood pressure.
The challenge of monitoring blood pressure on a regular, multiple times a day frequency is critical. This system takes all the issues out of the equation. Accurate, simple, minimally 'cluttered' -- all good things. Worth the investment.
