After initialising the bracelet recorded measures which I thought were rather low on the second initialisation has so far produced more realistic readings. It certainly records the bp well and has a long battery life
App not the greatest, and feels a tad dated. Bracelet is constantly ‘dropping’ off and losing Bluetooth connection. Having to unpair, then re-pair device at least twice a week. Not as reliable as an Apple Watch connection. Customer support is VERY DIFFICULT to get. An AI bot does not replace a human!!Very expensive for what you get, and not good value for money.
I have spent a month with this product and it has so far met my expectations. For someone who lives an active life style, finding a routine to consistently measure BP, at rest under same conditions has been a challenge. This has addressed that problem. The one gap that this does have is the integration with the iOS or Android Health. With the ever expanding world of interconnectivity and ability to combine a variety of tracked health data to identify conditions or their cause early on, this feels like a major gap. The only thing that kept me from giving a 3/5 was that I was able to find a manual process to upload that data to the Health app. If that integrations was there this would be 5/5. Thank you Aktiia team for an amazing product.
The product itself is working fine and has as much credited accuracy. What is lacking is the notification and alarm settings on the app when the BP 4aised above certain level set by user. Also the elastic band is making skin irritation and sweating.the device is lacking diversity of band ( leather, metal , etc)
It consistently (100% of the time) was reading 40-60 above my actual systolic number. The diastolic was fairly close when using my cuff, usually only 1-2 numbers off, sometimes dead on. I have taken my cuff to my doctors several times and "calibrated" it with their office machines, it's always within 1-2 for both numbers. There were also many times during the day and night that there were unexplained gaps of 4-6 hours without any readings. And dumping a months worth of data into a PDF is not exactly what I would call useful. Why not a CSV? And don't ever open the app if you're not within a few feet of the bracelet or you'll be having to add it back all over again because the app loses its mind and decides your device is brand new. All that said, it's the crazy numbers I can't get past, I do not trust this thing at all. Most expensive paper weight I've ever purchased, and it doesn't even do that right!
