I like the app, and the device itself is comfortable to wear. My only issue is that the BP readings do not match other BP machine readings I have at home, in my doctor's surgery or the nurse's manual readings. The Aktiia readings are often way higher, so I don't know what to believe. The Aktiia cuff and the wearable device's readings are near enough.
Good product - app seems well designed and intuitive. Product works very well and seems to be taking consistent measurements. Wristband seems sized for smaller wrists so I barely fit it. Also experienced some skin irritation from wearing it 24/7 so had to take some breaks.
We live in Canada and spend the winter in France. Since the cuff has a lithium battery, it is advised to carry it in cabin luggage. To avoid this I wanted an additional cuff, to have one in Canada and one in France. On the Aktiia web site the cuff as a separate item is not available to buy. I called Aktiia and they were extremely professional in making special arrangements for my request. I also appreciated that my communications with the agent were with the same person while making the arrangements. By the way, I love my Aktiia system. It has freed me up from taking my blood pressure every day. When I do synchronize it once a month, I always also take my blood pressure with the high quality blood pressure monitor that I have had for some time. In every case, the two systems show the same results, with differences well within the expected range of accuracy.
