I received the most amazing service from a sales lady by the name of Maureen Govindsamy at Hirsch's strubensvalley. Not only was she very friendly and welcoming she had such an intensive knowledge on every product I enquired about. She thoroughly assisted me in making the correct purchases along with added extras I needed. I highly recommend her as your go to person she really goes out of her way to make your purchases as smooth as possible even down to delivery! What a fantastic sales person this store is lucky to have her
I had to have my microwave replaced by insurance. They chose Hirsch to get a replacement. Initially it was due for delivery on Monday 27th - by midday they confirmed postponement to Tuesday 28th after I sat waiting all day. Tuesday came - I received a call just after 8am confirming delivery but they could not give a time. By 12h30 there was no delivery. I contacted them and it was confirmed that it would be between 2pm and 3pm. 4h30 came - no delivery no feedback. I enquired and was told the vehicle broke down. Had I not enquired I would have no feedback. At 16h30 some one called to say a driver lives near me and he will drop it after 5. I agreed but asked if it can be before 7pm as I needed to go out... ibwas assured it will be long before 7pm. 18h50 came I enquired- I was told that the driver will be contacted and they would get back to me... nobody bothered to get back to me... customer service is disgusting..so today I get a whatsapp to confirm my address. It will be delivered today...I am sitting waiting for 3 days- the feedback and keeping customers informed is non existant. I have asked the insurance to cash me out so I can purchase a microwave from a reputable appliance shop as I've never experienced such non chalance as a customer. Hirsch is one place I would never ever support. So I can imagine what after sales service must be like..probably a bladdy nightmare. I have a feeling I will get another message to say delivery will be tomorrow...... despicable customer service

I have just been to Hyde Park and their customer service is shockingon the 20-10-2024 i have purchased a genesis cyclovac and after 6 uses it started to overheat and stop so i went to them and asked if i could return and give me a credit and buy a better make and to my surprise their policy is 7 days then you cannot return but the worst thing was this floor manager showed no interest and his response was that the genesis rep does not want to take it back then there is nothing he can do .anyway that is the last time i visit a hirschs,
Hirschs Service Dept Durban retuned my SMEG oven door after fitting a new glass and it was falling apart. Absolutely shocking low standard of work. My complaint was acknowledged by them and Lucy Hirsch and after that I was flatly ignored and ghosted. Do not use this company. They are shysters. .
