We left it very late to book our trip to Sri Lanka ( 3 weeks) however the holiday architect’s rep Rebecca pulled an amazing trip out of the bag. Sri Lanka is a truly beautiful country which has not been jaded by tourism. The people are warm and friendly and the country has so much to offer - elephants in abundance ( leopards more shy! ) heritage sites , tea plantations , beautiful countryside and in the north east white sanded, deserted beaches. Despite the last minute planning Rebecca spent time discussing what we wanted from our holiday and planned a fabulous itinerary with some highly enjoying additional trips (the train ride through the tea plantations, the Kandy food tour, and countryside walk around the beautiful rice fields all a must). We requested smaller hotels and each place which was chosen for us not only had great character but attentive hosts and great food. We could not recommend Sri Lanka or Rebecca more highly
