My husband and I have just returned from the most amazing trip to Costa Rica. This is our first time visiting this part of the world and we really appreciated Louise's help and advice developing an itinerary that suited our requirements. It was particularly helpful that Louise had personal experience of the hotels and activities we were considering. The whole trip ran very smoothly and exceeded our expectations on so many levels. We are already considering our next trip to South America and will certainly be using Louise and Holiday Architects again.
I have recently returned from South America after a bespoke holiday organised by Louise at Holiday Architects. I cannot praise her, and the firm, highly enough. She put together a holiday based on what I thought I wanted to do but including some ideas of what might also fit in well. I was travelling on my own and Louise was very sensitive to this in terms of making sure that my hotels were in parts of cities where she knew I would be safe. It is so important to be dealing with people who are so familiar with the destinations. Having planned this, Louise was a welcome presence in the run up to the holiday, when I had a wobble over the arrangements. She was always on the end of the phone to answer those little questions that come up. I can only say a huge thank you and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to use the firm.
My wife and I went to Costa Rica for 16 days in February. We chose Holiday Architects as our travel company and we are very glad we did. The holiday was arranged with Dawn whose enthusiasm was infectious. We wanted to see wildlife as opposed to a beach holiday and she picked out some great locations. We visited just three lodges. We started in the north with the rainforest, then to the cloudforest in the centre and finally the Osa Peninsular to the south. All accomodations were great. The travel arrangements all went smoothly and we were kept informed every step of the way. A great holiday with some great memories.We would recommend Holiday Architects to everyone.
We have just come back from a fabulous holiday to CapeTown and the Winelands. As this was our first trip to Soufh Africa we wanted the planning and itinerary done by an expert and that's where Catherine from HA came in. I can honestly say Catherine did a superb job, she asked our likes and wish lists and it all went to plan from the outbound flight to return to London Heathrow. There were many highlights from the wine estate tours, CapecTown beaches and visit to Table mountain. I would certainly recommend Catherine and the HA team to everyone.
Our holiday to Vietnam was just perfect. I worked with Fenton at Holiday Architects to secure the very best experience we could have within our budget and we were not disappointed at all. The hotels were all lovely and also each one was well located based on our needs and what we wanted to do and see in the different areas we visited. I was reassured by Fenton that he had visited each of our hotels personally. The local tour guides and drivers we had were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was worried as we didn’t have WiFi on Halong bay and I wasn’t able to check in online for our flight onwards but I needn’t have worried at all as our guide Tom had already done it for us by the time he met us off the boat. Having the opportunity to discuss the different options for planned activities in detail was also very helpful and allowed our chosen activities to meet our needs and wishes perfectly. It is the attention to detail provided by Holiday Architects that resulted in us having a wonderful holiday and I cannot recommend them enough. We will definitely be using them in the future
My husband and I have just spent a fascinating 2 weeks in Egypt. Catherine organised a trip that encompassed our requirements perfectly. It was wonderful to be met and looked after by the local agents. They couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient.One thing that anyone visiting Egypt will have to accept is that many flights around the country are very early in the morning!We loved being on the Nile on the dahabyia. It was very peaceful. We did find the tipping stressful, although Holiday Archictects did give advice.
From the outset Kirsty ( who we dealt with most of the time ) was extremely helpful , knowledgeable and always ready to listen and make suggestions . This was our first trip to the Cape and she guided us through all the options for our 3 week trip even when i managed to get my dates wrong ! The small hotel/lodges were all lovely as were the staff and Kirsty's suggestions of trips , things to do and see, restaurants were a great help . The hire car was just the job for our long trip and directions/routes were spot on . Roads wonderful , scenery awesome and wine and food excellent .This was our second trip with HA and couldn't fault the preparation that went into the itinerary . Hope there is another chance to use them again although fast running out of years now ! Huge thanks.Martin & Halla
We had a great 2-week holiday in South India, thanks in no small measure to Holiday Architects whose India expert Clare put the itinerary together in conjunction with local agent partners. All of the places that we visited in Karnataka and Kerala were memorable. We stayed in very good accommodation, ate delicious (plentiful) food, learned a lot from expert guides in Mysore, Calicut and Cochin, and enjoyed the nature in Kabini, Wayanad and the Backwaters. Our driver Sanish was fantastic too. It was definitely worth asking HA to put the trip together, as it was very well planned by Clare and then flawlessly executed by the local team.
