Dawn at Holiday Architects put together a wonderful, personalised special birthday holiday itinerary for me. We wanted to see as much diversity as possible in the 10 days that we had available, and were able to experience wetlands, rainforest, cloud forest and the coast. She organised private transfers to/from all locations, as I did not want to be in any large groups, and similarly the locations she chose for me were more "off the beaten" track, rather than the standard tourist trails you see from most tour operators. It was simply a great privilege and an honour to experience Costa Rica in this way. We saw so many birds, mammals, insects and reptiles, yet even so it only scraped the surface of the wonderful biodiversity that Costa Rica offers! Dawn's vast experience of, and enthusiasm for, Costa Rica and her personal experience of the places we visited were invaluable. She was very patient in tweaking the itinerary until it was "just right" for us, and we are very grateful for her creating this wonderful trip that we will remember forever.
We had THE BEST holiday we could have wished for! Literally everything was sooo interesting and fun and we were so well looked after both in Cambodia and Vietnam. Both our local guides were absolutely brilliant! They were always on time, so friendly and super enthusiastic about their respective countries. They were very happy to share fascinating facts about their culture, their families, their day to day lives and we learnt so much more than we could ever have found out had we travelled alone. Everything you suggested in our itinerary was great and the tweaks we made like the cycling and the cookery session were such fun too. All the info you sent about ‘tipping’ etc was really helpful and making the second half of the trip on Phu Quoc Island was a perfect way to relax and chill after our busy week sightseeing. We loved the Green Bay Spa resort and our Ocean view/Pool Villa came with lots of extras which we weren’t expecting like free massage, free laundry, free mini bar, free room service etc - it all helped to make our 25th Wedding Anniversary trip a real treat! A great way to finish off such a memorable and perfect holiday!Thank you Fenton for all your hard work and support. We shall be saving up and hopefully using Holiday Architects again!
We had the most amazing time in Borneo - Erin organised the seamless trip which enabled us to see the best of this wonderful country - if you love wildlife, fantastic food and meeting the most beautiful and welcoming people then get in touch with Erin - we cannot recommend this lady or this company enough Thank youAdele and Paul Bridge November 2024
My wife and I have just returned from Vietnam which was organised by Holiday Architects. We cannot fault the incredible service we received from the initial enquiry until the lovely message we received on our return. The attention to detail was superb and cannot recommend them highly enough. We will certainly be using them again with many plans to come in the near future.Well done and keep up the hard work.
We had almost 4 weeks in Argentina and Chile, mostly walking and cycling iconic trails, but also with city and wildlife visits. Holiday Architects arranged all the flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire, guides and local reps. All worked faultlessly, and every single day surpassed expectations (and we had high expectations). Both Patagonia, and HA highly recommended.
My husband and sons had a fabulous holiday in Costa Rica thanks to Dawn from Holiday Architects. From the first time I spoke with her, a year before our trip, to our post-trip catch up call, she provided a first class service. She took time and care to understand the dietary and other needs of some family members and ensured that the lodges and the in-country agent were fully briefed. Her enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of, Costa Rica, shone through. She recommended wonderful lodges, which she had visited, combined with mainly private specialist tours and transfers. These were ideal for our family and fulfilled our long held wish to experience as diverse a range of Costa Rica’s incredible wildlife as possible, in two short weeks. We visited Macquenque, Arenal and the Osa Peninsula. Each lodge was very different, all in glorious settings, with stunning views. At all we had wonderful sightings of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects. We realised at Arenal that we were a little over committed with scheduled tours, but were easily able to change our itinerary to give more time to relax in the lodge. The accommodation was all extremely comfortable and the guides and staff at the lodges (and the drivers and guides on the tours Dawn arranged through the in-country agent) were all kind, caring and professional. We will long treasure our memories of this very special trip. Huge thanks Dawn!
Louise Mumford @ Holiday Architects has been phenomenal in planning and organising our holiday to Argentina as well as looking after us whilst there.We have booked flights a year before but left it late to organise our itinerary in Argentina. With some trepidation as I had never used a travel agent before, I searched for Latin American specialists and Holiday Architects came up and seemed highly recommended.Louise spoke to us over the phone to understand what we liked and and preferences around travel, hotels etc. She then came back with a draft which was perfect. She suggested places we would have liked at and so glad we went - Particularly the Salta region which was a revelation. All the flights, transfers and guides were organised and worked seamlessly. The hotels were great - mostly smaller boutique establishments and beautiful wineries. We now have a taste for Argentina and South America and will be back will definitely use Holiday Architects. Thank you Louise for making such memorable holiday for us.
Brilliant bespoke planning and expert advice in scheduling our trip to South America, nothing was too much trouble, really refreshing to experience a sincere customer focused approach. We had a fabulous itinerary across Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Easter Island, holiday of a lifetime. They set a very high standard and I can't recommend them more highly.
Finally I've got to write about our best holiday in our lives in November 2024. Louise M. arranged everything according to our brief and listened from the first phone call. We loved Argentina and want to go back and travel more in South America. The service from Holiday Architects was impeccable. Louise picked accommodation and right type of places to visit as per our desire. We thank Louise for making this holiday truly amazing and we are looking forward to work with her on our next trip.
