Terrible service. I signed up with Noone Internet and, without being told, got moved to Home Telecom. Since then, my connection keeps dropping.
I’ve figured out why. You keep changing my IP address, and every time it changes, the router drops the connection and takes a few minutes to come back up. This happens multiple times a day and is getting worse. I work from home, so I need a reliable connection.
One of Noone Internet’s selling points was a fixed IP, but that’s gone too. My IP now keeps changing, and I need a static IP for work.
On top of that, I’m trying to leave and can’t get my OTS details to match. My new supplier says the details on record don’t match mine, so even switching away from you is turning into a nightmare.
Honestly, being without internet for 3 weeks I'd usually be fuming but I've spoken to Maria twice now and she's an absolute delight!
As an engineer myself, I understand things go wrong and can't always be fixed straight away.
That being said, having top tier customer service where you leave the phone call feeling like they will fight in the trenches for you to get your internet back online is a different level.
I've spoken to three advisors in total and while the others were perfectly fine, Maria stands out by a mile. Instead of just telling me there’s a fault and to call back tomorrow, she’s fully taken ownership of it. She’s explained what’s happening and why, contacted the engineering team, followed up, and kept me properly in the loop.
Maria remembered my original call from a couple of weeks ago, which says a lot. As of today, she’s still holding onto my case while waiting on a callback so she can text me with an update.
That’s well beyond the bare minimum. The only reason I’m writing this review is because of Maria. She’s a credit to the company and deserves real recognition.
People like Maria shouldn't just be appreciated, they should be promoted! She's genuinely the only reason I haven't lost my mind and tried to cancel my internet.
If you value customer loyalty, you’ll value Maria. She is a genuine asset to your business.

He talked me through my opinions clearly and took his time ensuring my needs and requirements where all met !
Just moved and went for Home Telecom - speed and price that the initial inquiry identified. ISP provided router is TP Link VX230v - decent for flat or small house. However, in a larger house WiFi signal is weak and can’t Easy Mesh with other TP Link extenders. Bought my own DSL TP Link to improve coverage. Home Telecom provided username and password to connect. Worked for 36 hours but then lost broadband. Reconnected ISP router and got broadband back. Deduction is that Home Telecom unable to accept my router despite ISP log in details. Subsequently transpires that you don’t get 24/7 assistance as you would do if you went direct to ‘proper’ ISP providers eg BT, Sky etc. Additionally the original download quoted speed was subsequently reduced in the contract - aligning it with other ISP providers ((which offer slightly cheaper prices). So: using your own router causes difficulty; initial quoted speeds are not realistic; price is not competitive when considered mainline ISPs who identify true speeds; online support is poor compared to mainline ISPs. Deduction: small home - ok, larger with multiple users - avoid, quoted speeds and customer support - poor.

Wonderful speeds, and cheaper than the likes of BT and Sky, and faster than those.
Had very very very little downtime since being with HomeTelecom - and even that one issue, it was sorted within a few hours and I was kept fully updated.
Moving house for the second time felt overwhelming, but Manish made the entire process completely hassle-free. He sorted out all my bills (water, electricity, and Wi-Fi) in one call — not just for me, but also for my brother and sister-in-law.
Manish was incredibly patient, kind, and happy to repeat things until everything was clear, which I really appreciated with my hectic work shifts. Truly outstanding service — people like him genuinely make a difference. Very grateful and highly recommend!
The customer service at Home Telecom is second to none. I am always impressed at how easy they are to contact and how quickly they handle things. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Vivin has been absolutely amazing today.
I contacted Hometelecom last night to see if they could help with a problem I was having with Vodafone. I spoke with Daniel first, and then Jermaine. What amazing help and service they both provided. I made the mistake of leaving Hometelecom to join a rival, and the whole experience was disappointing. Daniel and Jermaine have both restored my faith in the Telecom industry, and I can’t wait to get my line reinstated to the place I should not have left.
Ergin has been a great help since day 1 of contacting me around a week ago regarding getting the wifi or anything else I needed set up to make my live as comfortable as possible. I made it known to him that I was only wishing to do one thing at a time in terms of the moving process and he allowed me the time to get moved in before contacting me back to continue with the process, he had been very efficient - what a great help! Honestly AVOID at all costs!! I don't even know where to begin, but here goes. They rang me up never mentioning "Home Telecom" just sent from Canopy moving home division. Made out they was helping me getting Internet into my new flat before I moved in. I expressed I didn't want Openreach and I wanted to go with virgin. Which they said they will set this up for me, to then find after the phone call that I get a text saying by Openreach engineer will come when I move in.. so lied about the company and their only personal gains.
Secondly they tried to send the router to the flat before I'd even moved in, I had to ring them and tell them to actually sent it to me and not an random place I wasn't living at the time.
Thirdly I told them I'm only wanted a 6 month / 1 year contract but signed me up for a 2 year contract
Fourthly promised me the Internet would be switch on from midnight but by suprise they still haven't turn it on.
Fifthly sending a engineer to a newly build flat to check to see if the systems work and charged me for a set up fee where the guy just come and literally plugged it in. 1 minute job..
Absolutely cowboys! VOID VOID VOID!! JUST GO WITH BT if you like Openreach they probably won't waste to much of your time like these! Or better yet just get virgin which I feel is the better of the lot.
It's a good job I rang them off my work phone which records all my phones calls, which I will be passing onto trading standards!
