Poor quality chocolate- waxy and tasteless. I know this isn’t a luxury chocolate brand but honestly a bar of organic 70% from a supermarket tastes miles better than this cocoa adjacent sadness. I’m always gifted Hotel chocolate boxes and eggs and they’re always so disappointing.
Took advantage of the Easter sale. Plus a selection of six packs and a limited edition hot chocolate. Glad it was not a sunny day today. Have had melted chocolate from royal mail. But arrived well packaged. All good. Hotel chocolat is one of the few places that offer quality chocolate without charging ridiculously high prices.
Unfortunately l have two friends with birthdays in May one the 4th the other 26 th l notice on the best before they have to be eaten by the end of the month which is a very short date for the latter birthday would you agree l do not want her to think l got the chops cheap as it was close to the sell by date l would like to hear your reply.
Ordered from the website, then tried to cancel within an hour. Claimed my details was incorrect so i emailed them instead, still claimed details was incorrect even though i was taking them directly from the email they sent me. Delivered early even after i selected a date in a few days later that i would be in for so wasnt there for delivery so it was just abandoned somewhere
Items arrived in excellent condition and the packing was excellent and no damage, also arrived in good time, no problems as usual, easy to navigate the site ordering is straight forward, and paying the same been shopping with hotel Chocolat for quite a few years now and always had a good experience.
