My favorite chilli hot chocolate is sold by Hotel Chocolat. I've tried other brands but nothing I have tried todate is anywhere as near as nice as that sold by Hotel Chocolat. A nice dark chocolate drink with a nice chilli kick. It's such a lovely treat that I have set up a monthly subscription to send me a box a month. Definitely recommend.
I can not complain about hotel Chocolat, however… they use Amazon for delivery. I was out and the parcel was put through the toilet window. I came home to find my box of chocolates in the toilet! Not easy to leave a negative review with Amazon so seeing as they use Amazon as their courier how can the blame fall on anyone but them? When I pay for delivery I don’t expect them to use a company that I should be entitled to a free delivery with anyway because I have prime membership.
I have a number of food intolerances. Often shop assistants shy away from trying to assist when there are obstacles to an easy sale. Not so Rebecca! When I looked at the vegan chocolate selection and then added on my other food sensitivities, she made multiple suggestions for items that would be suitable. It was a treat to encounter a staff person who would diligently make multiple suggestions until I found something that would work for me. Thank you for your time Rebecca! It was a pleasure to be served by you. I do not live in the U.K., or I would be a regular customer.
