Review Time
Despite packaging clearly stating not to leave in direct sunlight - delivery driver left at my back door in direct sunlight. Fortunately they were delivered at 3.50 and I was home at 4.20. The box was hot but the contents don’t appear to be damaged. Hotel Chocolat is a great brand and product - your delivery let you down
Chocolate awesome and did arrive ok but delivery driver left parcel at the door and was back at his van before I could answer the door. The parcel clearly has a sticker saying don’t leave the parcel in the sun! It’s a good job I heard the bell or that would have melted v quickly.
Although the chocolates are as lovely as ever, the delivery experience was not as good. Having paid for named day delivery I was frustrated to learn that the chocolates arrived a day late. Normally I would not be bothered but it was for a significant event.
I paid extra for Next day delivery but it was a day late. Also my the name on my account keeps changing to an old customer name which is awkward,The chocolate is great .......but this time the service was a little sketchy
Hot chocolate fine but delivered by Amazon who just dumped it on the hot tarmac of my drive on a boiling hot, sunny day. I was home and I have a porch. No knock. If I hadn’t spotted it, between the ants and the sun it would have been inedible. I am probably going to cancel my subscription as the risk of damage is just not worth it.
Sophie and Rebecca at your Harrogate store were delightful. Sophie welcomed us in and offered us a banoffee milkshake taster (delicious so I bought a box). Rebecca chatted to us about our likes and dislikes and told us about the quiz on your website. I did it whilst in the store n bought 3 packs of delicious chocolates as well as the banoffee sachets. Will definitely return.
