Review Time
Disappointed, when I placed my order, I was given a choice of delivery date, so I picked Friday 25th April as I would be home, then on the 26th I was sent a lovely email telling me my order will be delivered on the 28th, it was even sent in a way that I should get excited, just a shame I travelled to another country on the 27th!! Very poor, this will be the last time I buy from here!!!
I’m really not impressed at all, £35 on an egg, it’s really nothing to rave about, standard size egg but thicker, with a few chocolates in the middle, looked big on the pictures but not in real life, ordered 17th and only just arrived despite the delivery for 3-5 days, yes it was Easter but still, very disappointing for overall and not even a part refund as a gesture of good will, i did raise with customer services but they weren’t bothered, just an apology. I won’t be shopping Hotel Chocolate again!!
Disappointed and Frustrated I ordered from Hotel Chocolate 0n 23rd April with a 4 to 5 day delivery as stated on their website. However, my order has not arrived on time and is delayed by several days. which is now due to arrive 1st May taking 10 days to delivery !! Way beyond the time the Birthday gift was need by.Despite the promise of quick delivery, it became clear that they didn’t intend to meet that commitment.When I contacted customer service, I received vague responses with no real explanation. Although they suggested that I ordered another box for next day delivery at my own cost and when the original box arrived I could call again and then they would send out a returns label to return the first box, upon receipt of the chocolates they would credit my account. CrazyThe entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better from a company that advertises premium service. I won’t be ordering again.
Extremely Disappointing Service and False PromisesI ordered from Hotel Chocolat, paying extra for express delivery with the expectation that it would arrive the next day, as stated on their website. I have not tried drinking chocolate yet but I wanted to say that I was not pleased with the delivery. I was sent a message on my l phone saying the order was to be delivered. Later another message saying it had been delivered. I was surprised because I had been in all day, the courier didn’t bother to ring the bell, the parcel was just left on the door step
