AVOID HOTPOINT! 10 year warranty on parts- But charge nearly £200 call out for the engineer labour charges! To maintain the warranty. Then they’ll just cancel your booked engineer appointments. Only took 3 appointments and 11 days for them to actually attend. No complaints department, they just log the complaint at customer service and you’re advised you’re not going to hear anything back from HOTPOINT! Outrageous behaviour from a company!
Cooker in need of repair 3times .inner door exploded, melting at back and condemned ..workman sent out as we were told it was no good and gas to be sealed off and collected. Workman said he don't collect and told my disabled daughter that she can do it herself "as it's a piece of piss to do". It was not taken and he left. Fully well knowing it's against the law for anyone not registered to cap off a gas appliance!!! Absolutely disgusted with his response to my daughter
It was easy to arrange and I only waited 2 days, I am unable to walk at the moment and I asked if possible would they be able to let me know when near so I could get help and they phoned me 10 mins before which was great. The technicians were very helpful and explained everything they did which I appreciated BRILLIANT service
