Review Time
Firstly I wish I had read their reviews even though I did purchase through Debenhams. I would not have placed an order from this company. The item I purchased was £10.99. What did I receive a bag of baby bath play toys!!!!! Price £4.99. After many emails I now have to download a mailing label and then I have to return the item I received. I have been told that my original item I ordered as not been returned "surprise" BUT the big question is why inside the bath toys I received, I have the other customers details who originally purchased the bath toys, which includes her name address email address and phone number? So this suggest to me she has my invoice with my details. What about privacy rules and regulations? This is totally unacceptable. I have also been told they do not have my original item in stock I ordered and if the person who as the item returns it I can have this or would I prefer I refund? The refund will take TWO weeks after they receive back my return of the bath toys. DISGUSTED.
Ordered a replace Bellway pool pump from these people it arrived as agreed only to find a wet delivery box which I put down to the rain.Not until opened I found the units was somewhat second hand when I opened up the case to see if there was a filter it turned my stomach yes there was a used filter along with dead insects and various elements you would expect to find from a used filter including what must of been human skin etc Really what has this country come to
Ordered a tram through Debenhams and it came from howleys toys. The tram turned up and was in fact a DHL truck. I emailed and said the wrong item was sent. They asked if I wanted it and receive a part refund. I said no as my son is into trams and so I would order it elsewhere. I returned the truck and heard nothing, so had to email to see if they had got it back. They had so said they would start the refund and I would get it in 1-5 days. After 5 days nothing, so I emailed again and was told it would be 14 days now. So still waiting. Absolutely hopeless
If I could leave zero stars I could. I waited nearly a week after ordering to contact as I had no update only after a while could they tell me they had lost my order & could not do anything about it so I now have to pay £7 extra from elsewhere for express delivery. Awful customer service, I would definitely avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be disappointed!
Dreadful customer service. I have emailed numerous times to arrange a return and they have responded once and then no further response other than an automated one. Be careful ordering if you think there might be a chance you might need to return as this is impossible.
The product I bought was fab but just not big enough, I was so impressed with the company with how they handled my request to return it. They responded really quickly to my emails, and were so personable. No fuss was made and a pre-paid returns label issued almost immediately. I am so impressed with the fuss and hassle free way they managed my request and will definitely be shopping with them again. Huge thanks!
Absolutely disgraceful customer service, I ordered a bag twice as a Christmas present for my mum and they sent me the a totally different bag, I returned the item back twice on both the different shopping platforms and they failed to replace it or refund me. I had to chase them non stop to get my money back and had no response from them. I will never order again from this company for fear that I won't get what I'm paying for and then they give u the complete runaround to try to get your money back.
Placed an order online #922795 on the Howleys webiste at 8pm on Wednesday (27th November), for a Christmas naughty elf. Paid extra for the 'Express' next day service described thus - "Express - Next Day if Ordered before 1pm - (Delivered Monday to Friday) for £5.95 GBP"As I ordered on Wednesday night, this was well inside their cut off of 1pm on Thursday. So it *should* have been shipped on Thursday (28 Nov) and delivered on Friday (29 Nov).Friday came and went with no delivery. Howleys emailed a tracking number but without a link through so I've no idea which courier service it is.It is Saturday morning and I've no idea whether they've shipped it, if it's on its way or not, when it might be delivered, etc.Edit: It is now Monday (2nd December) morning and I still haven't received it. Had to go out on Saturday afternoon and get an elf for the kids to wake up to on Sunday.
Beware, especially during this holiday season! After completing an eBay order, 3 days later they cancelled under ‘buyer requested cancel’, which was false. They then finally messaged to say my item was lost, but lied numerous times regarding the cancellation reason. I have screenshot of them manipulating the listing through the days of purchase. They’re breaking consumer rights act and eBay user policies, so use at your own caution. They apparently pride themselves on customer service, however, they have none. This was proven by the way they handle disputes and boldly lie to customers, which is a theme through out their eBay store. If they had been honest in the first instance, this wouldn’t have been a problem, but to lie and manipulate for their own cause whilst breaking rules & laws, that’s what’s prompted this honest review. Do not buy, you will very likely be disappointed, lied to and disrespected as a customer/consumer.
