Joke & shelle IBAS despite the very strong documentation that I presented they still agreed with business gaming justifying that they are not authorized to verify the player's documents and their authenticity… waste of my time and faith in their actions Avoid !
James Ironside from IBAS was so professional and supportive of my dispute with Bet Fred and I can’t thank him enough as he could see I had a strong case and yes I made a mistake righting my bet out.But it could clearly be seen what I meant. And it was a great outcome thanks to James and Bet Fred honoured my bet in full. Thanks again JamesRegardsGordon J
Abysmal to say the least.I submitted my case to ibas with very strong evidence of miss-leading information and lack of transparency.IBAS is industry funded, they are paid by the very operators you are claiming against. Without the operators money, their business operation wouldn't be possible. So impartiality is compromised, they will award in the favour of the customer in small amount i imagine to be seen as impartial. However, this sum was for £29,533.. and its clear as day that they would never award this amount to a customer. My evidence was clear cut, i had videos, screenshots clearly showing the operator breaking the laws of gambling which directly impacted me in not receiving my winnings... the case couldnt have been any more stronger. My advice is not to use this service and go straight to the UKGC, they dont deal with individual cases, but they will fine the operator and come down hard with them. i'll be looking to petition that IBAS are removed as an ADR in hope that the adjudication process is handled by a similar body to the UKGC. A fair, impartial body that works to protect customers when gambling, as a pose to companies funded by these companies who are cheating people of their money. I will be appealing the decision and taking legal action. I will also be contacting the UKGC. Operators have been fined millions of pounds for the very same violations that has occurred here. So i will look forward to the investigation into the operator and the decision making from ibas too. Also, when you try and call up to speak with someone at ibas, you will reach someone who comes across fairly rude and abrupt, no customer service courtesy, and complete lack of knowledge of the process.
Fails to Meet Basic Standards of Independent AdjudicationI referred a dispute to the IBAS and my concern is not with the outcome, but with the fairness and transparency of the process itself. The decision appears to rely on evidence that is not fully disclosed to the customer, preventing any meaningful opportunity to review, test, or challenge the material considered. This creates a clear imbalance between the parties and is inconsistent with established principles of procedural fairness, including the expectation of “equality of arms.”In the context of dispute resolution within the regulated gambling sector, there is a reasonable expectation—aligned with standards overseen by bodies such as the Gambling Commission—that adjudication processes will be transparent, evidence-based, and supported by sufficiently detailed reasoning. Where relevant material is withheld and explanations are limited, those standards are not met.The position is analogous to a tribunal in which one party is required to answer a case without being permitted to see or respond to the evidence against them. In any credible system of adjudication, such a process would be regarded as fundamentally unfair. In light of these issues, I do not consider this service to meet even the minimum standards expected of an ombudsman-style body within a regulated sector. The lack of transparency and procedural balance represents a fundamental flaw, and I would not recommend it to those seeking a fair, impartial, and accountable dispute resolution process.
Don’t waste your time with IBAS they refuse to deal with complaints as make out not transactional. They are quite happy for casinos not to meet expected Customer service levels, casinos operate in an unfairly manor and not follow up to assistant all in getting casino to refund. In my opinion always side with the casino. Casinos complaints advise you to speak to IBAS as reached deadlock and UKGC advise the same yet they do not take on complaints as mentioned above. The casinos know this so a win win for both. Advice do not use this firm they do nothing an ADR should do you are better starting a legal case or use resolver
Waited 10+ weeks for a response to receive less than a three page response from them to not uphold the complaint. They disregarded most/all evidence sent in plus gave me no updates when they were taking longer than the wait times until I asked them to update me. Service was shocking and like the rest of the reviews they don’t side with the punter at all so don’t waste your time. Paddy clearly scammed me out of money but they don’t care about that since I’m not putting money in their pocket.
I was advised to open a case with ibas as I used my mothers card to deposit at one time when my payment card would not go throw other times I have used my own card on this occasion when I used her card I won 1800.00 of which they would not pay due to using a third party card on that occasion even though they took the payments from her account fine Ibas had already helped someone get there money due to this problem which is why I was recommended them but for some reason my claim has been turned down!! I don’t see how they can decide a yes for someone else but a no for me makes no sense at all It was the same thing that happened to both of us so why can I not have my money Obviously one rule for one person and one rule for me !! James ironside decided he could get his winnings fine even though he used a third party card like me There happy 5* review is even on trustpilot below for getting there winnings and thanking ibas for getting his money to him
I won 2100 on coral and they shut my account down and seized my winnings after I sent them all the documents they asked for I contacted ibas and they were great I dealt with Ron great and quick communication and I also got my winnings back thanks to Ron. Ibas thank you so much
