I have not been able to receive incoming calls for nearly a week, logged it witj live chat, was told technical support will contact me within 24/48 hrs ago, contacted live chat again after 48hrs and told issue should be resolved in 24hrs- I'm not holding my breath
I was on LiveChat to Sokhana who was extremely helpful. I requested my upgrade deals to match those for new customers - it was not possible to match exactly but Sokhana offered deals that were better than what was available on the website. I will now be staying with iD Mobile on an iPhone 16 or 17 contract. Sokhana's customer service was great and she responded in good time.
Dear friends,I am very disappointed to share my experience with iD Mobile. Their network service has become extremely poor across Central London, East London, and North London. I have been with them since February 2025, and everything worked perfectly fine until the last two months. Since then, I have been struggling to get proper signal or service.I tried to raise a complaint by calling 0207 139 1397, but they told me that this is the sales team and I should call the complaints line at 0800 049 2402. I called them at 16:09, and after waiting around 10 minutes, someone finally answered.Even though my number was already visible on her screen, she kept asking me to repeat it again and again. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, like always, she refused and said no one was available. She kept asking irrelevant questions and did not want to process my complaint. In the middle of the conversation, she simply hung up on me.I called again. After passing all security checks, the next agent accessed my account. When I explained the serious network issues in Central and North London, she told me openly:“We don’t guarantee good network everywhere. I can tell you which other networks are better, and you can cancel your contract and join them.”I was shocked. I have been using mobile networks in the UK for 21 years and no company has ever told me to just leave and join someone else. It felt like they didn’t care about keeping their customers at all.After insisting, she finally registered my complaint and gave me a reference number: 475715638.After experiencing such poor network service and highly unprofessional customer service, I have decided to move to a better network. If a company tells its customers to “just leave,” then they clearly don’t value your business.I am sharing my experience so you can make your own decision. If you want peace of mind, go with a stronger and more reliable UK network like O2 or Vodafone. I would never recommend anyone to join iD Mobile and go through the stress I faced.Very disappointed with iD Mobile’s service and customer support.Hasan Mashhood
After switching to another network, my iD Mobile account didn’t disconnect as it should have. I had to contact customer service, and after exchanging several emails, Lamiya finally replied and sorted everything out by cancelling my account immediately. These five stars are truly for her exceptional support.I also want to mention Zubeida, who genuinely tried to help, although she couldn’t resolve the issue in the end.However, I regret to say that all the other agents I spoke to through the chatbox were not helpful at all and didn’t provide any solution.I’m writing this review solely because of Lamiya, who promptly fixed my problem without wasting my time. iD Mobile should employ more people like her.
Absolutely shocking. Customer service is diabolical. New contract. No phone after 8 days. 2 hours on live chat....then they cut me off. Wow. Never been so frustrated. Do not use this company. I am stuck now. Old phone. New contract. No phone. Honestly. And cannot get out of the contract...
