My experience of the Id mobile is too short to give a definite view. On the plus side the cost is much cheaper than my previous one with 02 for much the same service as far as I can see. On the other hand the signal is often weak (1bar).

The situation I am facing is utterly unacceptable and feels fraudulent. I am attempting to activate a replacement SIM, but the service is refusing to proceed, despite my contract covering two accounts. They expect me to provide a driving license or passport, which I do not possess, yet they want me to continue paying for a service that they are not providing. As a result, I feel compelled to halt my monthly payments since I am being denied the service for which I am contracted. This situation seems fraudulent, as they demand payment without delivering the service. They need to activate my SIM card, or I will cancel the direct debit, as I refuse to pay for something I am not receiving. It is ridiculous to suggest that one must travel or drive to verify their identity when I have already proven it through eligibility checks. Additionally, I have not received any communication beyond a code, and the company should have verified my identity when they accepted my order. If they continue to refuse activation despite the proof I provided, I will cancel my direct debit. It is unreasonable to expect payment for a contract that they refuse to fulfill. I cannot understand why they would insist I pay for a service I cannot use. This is both outrageous and illegal; one should not have to pay for a product they cannot access. The company claims I must pay for my contract, which they will not activate, despite the ample evidence I have provided. It makes no sense to pay for something that is being denied to me, and this only adds to my stress and frustration.
