I went to this site to attempt to look up someone who had scammed me. I typed in the persons information that I knew. Then all of their color and "extensive" search began. During this time it flashed up on the screen that they "Information.com" were finding all kinds of information on the subject. At the end of the dog & pony show, it offered me a great deal, just $1 for the report. Just put in your CC information, so I did. Then it said to be able to download the information in a PDF format, just another $3.99, again to which I agreed. Once the transaction processed, it to me to the finding to which they discovered, which there was NOTHING! I got scammed for $5. Okay, I agreed to, so be it. So I just cancelled my membership. I soon discovered they really don't cancel it, they keep your CC on file and will not remove it from their site. Called customer service, 45 minute wait to speak with someone and they were useless and also refused to remove it, after I made the request. They are data brokers, selling your information, guaranteed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I had to end up canceling me CC and have a new one reissued, with a new number. I was not going to allow my financial info stay with them forever!

Report was ready. Supposed to be FREE. Wanted $1. Immediately after that, they said congratulations you have signed up for reoccurring payments if $29.99!!! I called, I canceled. Will also try and block them off my credit card. Scam to the max!
What went wrong? You got to be kidding. They are totally SCAMMERS. They don't just get your $1.00 they automatically get the $3.99 you don't agree to. I blocked them on my cash app. I even asked for it back, the scum had different plans Lucky I did because today they tried to charge me $29.97. Got to like Cash app, it's the best.
I decided to look for an old friend, so I went to Google, Yes, a liberal search engine, they recommended information.com, that should have been my first warning, this place is a total scam, they asked for $1 charge then six different temporary authorizations came up from information.com and Trazi Ventures LLC, also was a $3.99 temporary authorization shows up and on their web page it shows an additional $30.47 charge within the next couple days!I never authorized these charges other than the $1 and I never signed up for these extra charges. Why is liberal search engine Google even putting information.com first in line, maybe Google is apart of the SCAM!BEWARE!
i was under the impression of being charged $1. for a background check. i was then charged $29 and some change. Then it did not give me the background check i requested nor was the background check in the history on the actual website. This company is a scam and doesnt even deserve 1 start. They deserve -1billon stars for bullsh!t. i checked my reciept and it does not say i was charged $28 and some change for this bullsh!t.
This is the worst site so be aware! I signed up for the trial subscription for 1.00 to see how accurate the information was and decide if I wanted to spend over 30.00 per month to continue doing business with them. They first charged my card the 1.00 which was expected and then turned around right after that and charged my card the amount for the full subscription. I immediately emailed them saying that I did not authorize them to charge me for the full subscription because I wanted to try it for the 7 days it offered before making that decision and because of that, I wanted to cancel completely! They still have yet to cancel and refund my money they stole! Now let's talk about the information they actually provide! It is not even half right! I ran my own name just to check the accuracy. They had relatives listed of people that don't exist in my family. They have outdated information. There is A LOT of information missing! There is stuff on there that is just completely wrong! I also didn't fill out my profile information right away cause I immediately emailed them so later when I got back on there to try it out, they had filled in some of MY account information themselves with my name being "excuse me" and an address I've never lived at or even heard of before. This is not worth even the 1.00, for the so called trial they say they offer. It's all a lie and contains fake information! Do not waste ur time cause u will regret it!
Information.com is a total scam. They are complete liars and will try to steal your money. I ordered a background check for $.99, and they attempted to charge $35 several times to my account. Luckily, I caught it quickly. Reported them to the bank for fraud.
