Never Again - Food Poisoning

I would never return to this hotel. I experienced food poisoning on the day we were set to depart. The reception staff were rude and condescending. The food was mediocre at best, and we left the Italian restaurant due to poor quality. The beer was terrible; my partner even bought a box of a different brand from duty-free. Having visited the area before and enjoyed my stays, this hotel needs to significantly improve its food standards. The cleaner was wonderful, but the entertainment was nonexistent, and the alcohol quality was disappointing.

Not a True 5-Star Experience

This hotel does not meet 5-star standards. If you're from the UK, you may find it lacking. The so-called all-inclusive package only includes water in the mini fridge, and soft drinks are only available at reception in reused plastic cups, which raises hygiene concerns. The food was terrible, leading us to eat out daily, making the all-inclusive option a waste. The rooms were not properly cleaned, with hair and stains present. Upgrading to a sea view meant a long walk in the heat without assistance, making it feel like a downgrade. The reception staff were unprofessional and only polite when expecting tips. Overall, this is more of a 3-star hotel, with cleanliness, food, and service being severely lacking.

I have bin 10 times in egypt

I have bin 10 times in egypt ! This place i would never recommend to nobody even not to my worst enemy! Its old and the food is terrible exept the a la carte restaurants! For the kids above 10 and older there is nothing to do in the evening! All the time i had to go back to the service desk to update the room card! Airconditioning didn’t work so i had to move to an other room! Not enough beds at the pools! Pools are very old and around the pool and walking paths the floor tieles are broken and very sharp!! We are with 4 grown and 4 kids ! 4 got sick from the food! Overall don’t waste your money on this place! Grtz Hasan geebel

NOT 5 STAR NEVER

The standard of the rooms were not worth 5 starts. It was old, the equipment was old, it wasn't super clean and the bedding has clear wear and tear. The rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The staff were very divided. Half were lovely and the other half were very rude especially at reception. The staff at the bar near the main pool were only nice if you gave them a tip and with that they'd give you a little extra food (even though it was all-inclusive). Everyone at the hotel would pester you for extra tips even at the spa where you already pay a lot for treatments. The food was ok but definitely not for families with children as there's not a lot of choice for them. The hotel also has some positives though. It's in a lovely location with stunning gardens, the gardeners were doing a really incredible job with the maintenance of it.Overall, an average experience.

Hurghada: A Completely Different World

"Hurghada: A Completely Different World"For years, I've yearned to immerse myself in the culture and adventures of Egypt, particularly in Hurghada. However, fear and tales from acquaintances always held me back. That is, until May 4, 2024 arrived.Browsing the Loveholidays website, we almost gave up hope of finding our dream hotel when we suddenly stumbled upon the Jasmine Palace Resort Hotel. The pictures were stunning, so we quickly booked our trip. Five-star luxury, all-inclusive, and yet not too expensive. This was an opportunity not to be missed! Our plane took off from Gatwick Airport, and by 7 in the morning, we were already in the air. A mix of excitement and nervousness accompanied us towards the Egyptian warmth. After a 5-hour and 20-minute flight, we finally landed at Hurghada Airport. As the door opened, we were greeted by the blazing rays of the sun. Well, the weather certainly wouldn't disappoint! After passing through security at the airport, we bought an internet data package for a whole month with an Egyptian SIM card at the exit. 33 GB of data for $11? That price was a best! At the exit, the transfer was already waiting for us, and a kind driver took over. As we arrived at the Jasmine Palace Resort, it was already impressive at first sight. But little did we know what adventures awaited us!The reception staff was quick and helpful. We checked in, received some important information, and a smiling staff member helped us take our luggage to the room. The room was luxury itself. European standard, but perhaps even better! After unpacking and freshening up, we set out to explore every nook and cranny of the hotel. We woke up early in the morning, eagerly looking forward to breakfast. And this is where it all began. The attentiveness and kindness of the staff captivated us as we delved into the world of Egyptian flavors. Throughout the 7 days we spent there, we never once felt that something was amiss. From the cleaners to the pool attendants, from the waiters to the managers, everyone was extremely helpful. Their sincere smiles and friendly attitudes were simply enchanting. These human values cannot be bought or ordered. Either you have them or you don't. And at the Jasmine Palace Resort Hotel, they were present. Although we didn't meet every employee, those we did left a lasting impression on us. I have never felt so at home and honored in my life.Throughout the day, we participated in numerous exciting activities, explored the beach, and even embarked on a few hours of desert adventure. But at the end of every adventure, it was the welcoming embrace of the hotel that we truly awaited.

Don’t go to the tattoo studio

Firstly, do not get a tattoo here by the artist they hassle you when you’re sitting by the pool to go. they’ll show u some art work ‘by him’ which looks great but he is absolutely awful. Me and my partner both got tattoos and the stencils were perfect and when he actually tattooed us they were awful.

Listen to the reviews and go somewhere eles

This was my second time at Jasmine Palace in Egypt. Myself and my mum got so ill 2 years ago by the food. The last 3 days we barely ate a thing. Paying for the pyramid excursion we felt that we didn't get enough time to enjoy or take in the pyramids so being eager we tried again in May booked the same hotel, but this time bringing my husband & Two children along to. Bulked up on vitamins and aqua taps for the water I was confident we were going to have a different holiday. I was WRONG. Worse than before! People incredibly rude. Only nice when they think they are getting money from you. You have to pay to use toilets that are absolutely filthy. The hotel itself is lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The food well we are vegetarians and the food was so limited to what we could eat. Potatoes most evenings were hard and undercooked. Practically lived off chips leaving a horrible oil in your mouth. We took a walk down the road to find some shops prices are reasonable the further down you go. Called on a taxi and asked him to take us to the shopping mall and he took us to antons shopping centre absolute rip off! My husband got sworn at. Tried again with another taxi and he took us to the mall. Prices in the main shopping centre are a bargain, well worth the visit. Mc Donald's very basic menu nothing for veggies, so we went to a restaurant chilli's it was amazing first time my stomach could handle the food. Was so good went back there for the last day to eat a decent meal. Shops just outside the jasmine palace resort so rude! Fat man in the spice shop tried to rip us off for black seed oil and a homemade remedy for my mums bad hands not only did he almost break my mums neck he tried to charge us over £80! We told him we would think about it as we didn't want to hurt his feelings he jumped up & told us to get out we waisted his time. Incredibly horrible man to deal with. Museum toilets absolutely filthy and the women in there actually tried to block me from leaving until I paid. We wanted to try again to see the pyramids but this time we took a plane costing over £1000 hoping for more time. He took us on the exact same excursion as the coach. Finally got to the pyramids after a long day wasn't even there long before we had to move to the view spot where we were hassled by a young lad on a camel. Actually picking my daughter up and putting her on his camel we then tried to give him 200egp he was offended and said what is this this is for one picture. He even tried to get our guide involved where we told him take the money or not it's all we are offering. he took it and went away. I would stay clear from them completely don't even acknowledge them. We then went to the spinx and we were away from it not even inside it. So the man ripped us off. Last time we got to walk around inside it. Also he offered the river nile cruise for 30mins the price was double from last time he took all the money and put it in his pocket. Well the man last time we saw him pay the boat man. So again he doubled up on his money. We were then suppose to go shopping in the market and didn't get to do that. I wouldn't recommend the plane route definitely go by coach it's the same and so much cheaper. People are Horrible! Dinner hall is a mess not enough tables and chairs, people everywhere. We got so ill even with taking vitamins every day including activated charcoal even my poor children got such bad stomachs I became very concerned for their health. Using the toilets alot of people were experiencing such upset stomachs clearly the food hygiene is utterly poor. The men around the pool were good with my children playing around with them which was nice. In the evening we walked down the beach and noticed the water bottles they use to fill up the water machines In the hotel they are using the beach showers. That explains alot. The chinease wasn't nice. The Italian wasn't nice. The rasta pasta we only asked for pasta and not the meat and asked for cheese and garlic and the portion sizes were so small we were incredibly hungry. And it tasted so plain barely any cheese and zero garlic. My children were so sick of not being able to eat at this hotel they started to count down the days till we left. We gave it a second chance to redeem itself and was truly disappointed. We will never return to egypt. And sadly still feel dissatisfied with the time we got to spend at the pyramids after paying all that money.

Kind staff and amazing fish feet treatment 😀

We went in May and took our daughter and her friend. The food was lovely the service was spectacular and the staff were so very kind and couldn't do enough to make you feel comfortable. I would advise you to treat yourself to Mr Fish Loka such a kind man We're planning on going back next summer and will be having the fish treatment first to start and get our feet beach ready I would truly recommend of all the pampering treatments that is the one I would choose. I'm just praying he's there.

NOT 5 STAR

NOT 5 STAR - UNHELPFUL STAFFStayed at Jasmine Palace with my kids , single dad of 2.This hotel is certainly not 5 star. The rooms are ok, beds awful, bathrooms are adequate, food hall is a lions den, no order to Que up, no table service, the staff ALL expect a tip, ZERO WiFi only in reception if your lucky to get connected, throughout my week I kept asking if I can pay extra to extend my check out time from12 to at least 6pm or later as our pick up wasn’t until midnight. All week I was given different excuses, can’t see that far in advance/ come day before, come morning of, fully booked.I had to check out at 12, Not once did they offer a room or where for me to get my 2 children changed, washed or even let themGet some sleep before our midnight pick up,I was disappointed in the levelOf care and service at this hotel, it’s NOT 5 starNever again
