Review Time
I bought a refrigerator from a premium brand three years ago, and I regret to say my experience has been quite disappointing. Over these years, the fridge has faced numerous issues. Each time I reached out to customer service, they expressed apologies and sent a technician, but the resolution always involved replacing parts of what was meant to be a brand-new appliance. Multiple components have been swapped out, yet the problems persist. During my last interaction, a manager indicated that the company would replace the refrigerator if more issues arose, but that promise was not fulfilled. Currently, I'm dealing with another issue: the refrigerator door is misaligned, despite the fact that previous adjustments were made by the company's technicians. When I contacted customer service again, I spoke with a manager who claimed the misalignment was our fault, even though the alignment and prior repairs were conducted by their team. He also noted that earlier part replacements were associated with airflow problems. After three years of ongoing issues, technician visits, and part replacements, I am extremely frustrated. I anticipated much higher quality, reliability, and accountability from a premium brand. Unfortunately, my experience with both the product and customer support has fallen short of those expectations.
We acquired a wall oven and a separate microwave convection oven over 11 years ago. The touch screen controls on both units have failed with the same error code approximately once a year, despite limited use. The failures occurred even when the ovens were not in use, and repairs were costly when not under warranty. The last incident caused both ovens to fail simultaneously, and replacement parts were back ordered for three months, compelling us to buy a countertop oven to manage through the holiday season. To keep the original ovens functional, I have resorted to switching off the power at the circuit breaker and only using them a few times a year, while relying on the budget-friendly countertop option for daily needs.
We bought a complete set of appliances from the company in 2017, which included a wall oven/microwave and a gas oven range. Over the past 7 years, both have displayed the error code F2E1, indicating a short. In the first year, they replaced the panel, advising us to cut the power to reset it. Now, in August 2025, after multiple calls with no response, the chatbot only offers 20% off a new unit (which costs over $8000), and the replacement part is priced at $2700 but is backordered indefinitely. Had we researched, we would have seen how many of their oven units face this issue. I wish they would take care of their previous customers, but here we are. We won't be purchasing any products from this brand again, as their customer service is severely lacking, assuming you can even reach an operator.
My experience with this stovetop has been extremely disappointing. It malfunctioned within two months of regular use, and now, a month later, I'm still waiting for repairs. For a brand that positions itself as 'luxury,' the quality and support are far from it. The appliance failed unexpectedly, customer service has been frustratingly slow, and every update seems to bring more delays. I've had less expensive brands last for years without any problems, yet this high-priced stovetop couldn't last even 60 days. Save your money and avoid the frustration. I will not purchase from this brand again.
Shame on Jennair. Our rather expensive cooktop came with a Melt cap, a fancy accessory that one can use to melt chocolate, etc. It was chipped, so we asked for a replacement. 6 months later it showed up, horribly packaged, and unsurprisingly more chipped than the original. Totally unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially for a company that presents itself as high end. This will be the last Jennair product we buy, or that anyone we know buys if we can help it.
Absolutely horrible. I have had my JennAir fridge for maybe 13 months. I have had it serviced at least 8 times and asked for a replacement and they told me that it isn’t their problem. Whirlpool is beyond brutal for customer service and once again my fridge’s ice has jammed again today after it being fixed 2 weeks ago. It is the same problem every time and it really is such a basic function. We had a Samsung that worked better before this fridge which says a lot about their fridges.
We had to replace a door seal on our Jenn air fridge 5 times over the last 4 years. Jenn Air will not accept any responsibility for the issue. I have had multiple service techs out saying the same thing that this is a design flaw. I would recommend to never buy Jenn Air product as the design and parts are low quality compared to the products price tag.
Do not buy their appliances. We both 4 appliances from them (wall oven, stove top, dish washer and mini fridge). We have had nothing but issues with all 4 and they’re only 5 years old. Wall oven has been serviced 3 times and just died, again, mid cook. I’m so done with these terrible products.
