Avoid at all costs, the queues at passport control are going insanely slow, it’s took longer to get through passport control than the 2 hour flight, it’s actually insane

And if you ask the staff they couldn’t care less, I think in their defence they’ve probably given up

Worst passport control queue ever

I arrived at Bergamo Airport 1 hour and 40 minutes ago and am still in the queue for passport control. I estimate that I have at least another 30 minutes to stand in this queue. I frequently fly to USA, and China and have flown into Russia a few times. This is the absolute worst. And the staff are so rude!

AVOID BERGAMO (BGY MILAN) AIRPORT

Bergamo is a beautiful city. The airport? Far from it. I have NEVER been treated as badly as I was at this airport, and I will never fly through there again. The security staff are rude and unhelpful, treating passengers like cattle. A man in front of me was sent through security wearing a watch (which lit up red on the scanner), while a woman in front of me was told to go back and remove her wristband. The staff's behavior is absolutely unacceptable: they are slow, inefficient, leave passengers stuck in small lines, and are aggressive when spoken to. Instead of flying through this airport, I would recommend flying directly to Milan and taking the train to Bergamo. You'd save yourself the hassle.

formal complaint

Graag vertalen I would like to file a formal complaint about an unpleasant experience I had at Bergamo Airport. When I arrived at security, I was unable to open my boarding pass due to a temporary technical issue on my phone. I politely asked one of the security staff members for assistance, but instead of helping me, she dismissed me completely. To my shock, she even smiled as she turned me away, offering no support whatsoever.I was traveling with my young daughter, and the situation caused me significant stress, especially in such a crowded and chaotic environment. I understand that I could have taken more precautions, but in moments like these, passengers should be able to expect at least some basic assistance or understanding from airport personnel.Eventually, I managed to solve the issue by restarting my phone, but the lack of compassion and the way I was treated left a very negative impression. I hope that your staff can be reminded of the importance of basic respect and support toward travelers, especially families.

AGGRESSIVE AND INTIMIDATING BEHAVIOR

AGGRESSIVE AND INTIMIDATING BEHAVIOR 1-star review: Extremely unprofessional and aggressive and imitating behavior from baggage check-in staffMy experience at Bergamo Airport was deeply disappointing — particularly at the baggage check-in counter. The staff members were not only disorganized but displayed imitating and aggressive behavior physically and verbally that made the situation feel unsafe. The check-in staff themselves placed our bags on the belt, only to then blame us for doing it “incorrectly” and insisted we go back and unpack everything. When I began recording the situation — in response to how unreasonable it had become — a staff member confronted me in a highly aggressive manner. She demanded to see my phone, ordered me to delete the video, and shouted, “F*** you” and "shut up" directly to my face. This was not airport security, but regular check-in staff behaving in a completely unacceptable way.I felt intimidated and unsafe, with staff members invading my personal space and yelling at me with no justification. No traveler should be subjected to this kind of treatment.Bergamo Airport should seriously reconsider who they allow to represent their services at the front line. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend using this airport — especially if you value respectful and professional service.

Blackmailed by staff

The worst airport staff. I have lost my flight simply because in Birmingham airport ryanair’s staff gave me wrong infirmation about transfer and luggage process. In the ticket office - although i supposed to get help,- i had the worst flying experience ever which honesttly puts me off to fly ever again. The woman in the ticket office rip me and my partner off for new tickets for the next morning - despite it was entirely ryanairs responsability that we lost our connection. I have step away from the office window and started to make a video where i explained my negative experience. Suddenly the woman started to shout at me and blackmail me by saying that if i won’t cancel the video she’ll cancel my reservation. SHE WAS NOT ON THE VIDEO!!! HOWEVER, AFTER SHE MADE ME OAY €220 SHE INSISTED THAT I HAVE TO SHOW HER MY PRIVATE VIDEO AND I HAVE TO CANCEL IT OTHERWISE SHE WILL CANCEL MY NEW RESERVATION! THEN SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME!!! Good job at least the police knew there job and they have explained to her tgat dhe gas NO RIGHT TO DO EHAT SHE DID! However, she caused me huge stress which and made us waste at least 1 hour. Obviously the woman will be reported and i really hope she’ll list her job and will not have to deal with customers as she clearly doesn’t know that she is there for gelp and that’s what she got paid for - from passenger’s money. Security and check in staff was rude and unhelpful too but the woman in the ticket office was a dodgy criminal.

I had the most traumatic experience…

I had the most traumatic experience going through Bergamo with the "assistance" It was really horrible and I will never fly through there again. A very short-tempered woman picked me and my husband up from the plane from Málaga. She handed us over to the section to wait. No one was polite or friendly. There was one horrible woman who had to transfer myself and 3 other passengers through security to catch the connecting flight to Tirana. Luckily my husband and the wife of one of the other passengers were there to help and pushed us, whilst the "assistant" yelled and berated us in Italian to the point where I was in tears and asked someone who spoke English to please translate and to tell her to stop being so mean. She pushed my husband through then shouted at me because I was too slow getting my cardigan off. I couldn't reach the trays from my wheelchair and she shouted at me for not putting my bag in the tray, but I couldn't reach and she'd gotten rid of my husband. She snatched the things from me and I was so flustered that I forgot my walking stick which was in the bag on the back of my chair. She shouted at me again. The rest is a blur because I was having a panic attack. She treated the other passengers the same way. Then she took us to the waiting room and forced my husband and the wife of the male passenger to leave and board on their own. My husband tried to argue, he tried to get their names (by this point there was another lady there) but they refused to listen and made him leave. For him, he boarded the plane then panicked because the plane was full and I still wasn't there. The steward tried to get him to sit down, but he refused because he was frightened the plane would take off without me. For me, I was eventually taken through, with the 3 other passengers in wheelchairs, by ONE man. He had to push 1 chair and pull another then leave us to fetch the other two. I felt frightened and vulnerable without my husband, and verbally abused by the staff

Expectations of professional services betrayed

1. NO CONCERN FROM THE STAFF AT THE BOARDING GATE FOR PRIORITIZING THE ACCESS OF MOTHERS WITH BABIES !2. Loss (probably in the hold of the plane) of an object (souvenir) small in size, which was declared, packed and handed over to the staff (and obviously paid for, including packaging, the total cost exceeding the cost of the object itself)
