These mortgage brokers do not appear to understand the FCA rules .My experience was with South East region & Kent . ,I noticed that the brokers compliance was seriously lacking and would not put my trust in obtaining mortgage advice from these guys .I worked for Barclays for 10 years & understand duty of care .Just mortgages came across as commission motivated & hard selling to the extreme ,
Terrible experience with this company, everything was great until I paid the fee they wanted and suddenly all communication stopped. Then after the solicitor they recommended sent me some documents to sign telling me I had the mortgage offer I got an email 3 days later from just mortgages saying my solicitor still needed proof of mortgage and gave me an incorrect date for searches. I emailed back to straight away receive another one saying they get their information from the solicitor so they were not to blame. Then when I sent them the email from the solicitor showing the contradictory information and pointing out that I had tried to get hold of my mortgage advisor for weeks and I was unhappy then all messages stopped again. I am also dubious about the solicitors they recommended as they seem to be asking for more and more money at every stage. As a first time buyer I am left feeling like I’ve been taken advantage of. I would not use this company or the solicitors they recommend.
Absolutely shocking company. I was asked to write a review regarding Chantelle from just mortgages and all was good at the start, really helpful. Since then it's taken a year since putting an offer on a house and still no movement. The mortgage advisor takes weeks to reply never answers her phone to us never answers emails sent by solicitors either. The problem is once this company has your money they ghost you.
Sam and Ruby were great from start to end. We were first time buyers and often weren't sure what was what. They were always happy to advise us on the process and what we needed to do (even when it wasn't really part of their job). Will definitely be coming back whenever we need another mortgage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
I had a great experience with both my broker and mortgage administrator at JM. Simon Davis moved very quickly and kept me posted throughout the process, making sure we found the best deal possible. Emma Rae was a great administrator who helped me manage the paperwork required and she also kept me posted throughout the process. There was a lot of back and forth with my application and my different sources of freelance income etc so I am aware that Simon and Emma worked behind the scenes to get my time sensitive application over the line. All communications were also very professional and friendly throughout. Thank you both so much!
Our first meeting with Elliot was awesome. Elliot was very patient with us and shared with us some valuable information on mortgages and the whole process of buying a house.
