I bought a 2024 Dacia Stepway and I have to say they are just brilliant. I dealt with Paula who kept me informed and updated and helped me with everything, I really can't praise her enough. 👏 I also have to thank Brendan for his help with paperwork and keeping in contact with me and also to John who delivered my car, you are a sound man John. Thank you to each one of you ☺️
My van failed its CVRT. Four bulbs out and oil needed. I booked in with Belgard because it’s where I bought my van. My retest is today and the only time they could give me was yesterday. I was charged €511. They insisted on a full diagnostic €170 and some other super expensive thing with the oil and when i hesitated over the price they said the van was on the ramp and would be taken off it if I didn’t agree. The only reason I brought it there about the bulb is because it was a suspected electrical reason a light on my back reg wasn’t working. They knew my CVRT retest was today. I went in with my CVRT fails too. There is no itemised breakdown of costs on my invoice. I’m just In disbelief that it cost me €511. Never again.
Bought BYD Seal U off Cian down in BYD Belgard . I have to say my experience from start to finished was fantastic. As I need my car adapted for my mam it wasn't a straight forward process . But Cian in BYD helped me everyway he could even got a company that adapted BYD cars as they a fairly new car some places didn't want to do it . Can't thank Cian and all the other staff in BYD Belgard enough delighted with the car . Will definitely be back once you purchase a BYD you won't look back absolutely fantastic car thanks again BYD Belgard Amy Domhnall
Called into Keary's Belgard to have a look at replacing my Kadjar. The idea was to just update the car, but after Ellen showed me availability I decided to go for a new car. Her knowledge of all the cars was amazing and I was soon bitten with the All new Dacia Duster 111 Extreme. The Dacia was not on my shopping list to start with but after Ellen went through the spec with me I was sold on it. All through the process Ellen kept me up to date by phone and mail, which I found extremely helpful, so much so that I shared my experience with a colleague who is now in the process of buying from Ellen. I would have no hesitation recommending Ellen and Keary's Belgard for your next car.
What should have been a joyful experience turned into a nightmare. I was promised my BYD car would be ready on 20/08, then 03/09, then 04/09. My family came to collect it — but the finance process hadn’t even started.Following the dealer’s advice, I transferred my insurance, leaving me without cover for the whole weekend. Later, documents came hours late despite early approval, and now two months after delivery, no payment has been taken from my account.I’ve called, emailed, and visited — nothing solved. BYD should not allow such unprofessional retailers to represent their brand. Until this is fixed, run from these dealers.
I am not one to post negative reviews, as I understand that sometimes things can go wrong. However, after this second deeply frustrating experience with Kearys in Cork City, I feel compelled to warn other customers. My husband took a day off work to bring our car in for a scheduled 90,000 km service with a 9:00 AM appointment, but the entire day was a masterclass in inefficiency and poor communication.Despite the 9:00 AM booking, our car was left untouched for three hours. When we enquired at noon why no work had begun, we were simply told they would "take care of it" and that the car would be ready by 2:00 PM. What is truly concerning is the suggestion that a major service, booked for 9:00 AM, could be started at noon and properly completed in just two hours. I have never had a major car service take such a short amount of time. To make matters worse, they also informed us that the tracking service, which was meant to be included, could no longer be fitted in.The disrespect for our time didn't end there. The 2:00 PM deadline came and went. It is now past 2:30 PM, and the car is still not ready.What makes this situation even more unacceptable is that Kearys does not offer a courtesy car service. This leaves customers completely stranded and at the mercy of their unpredictable timelines.Booking an appointment should mean your slot is reserved, but at Kearys Cork City, it seems to mean nothing. This isn't the first time we've experienced this issue, and it will be the last. I now feel genuinely unsafe driving my car, questioning what could have been missed in such a rushed job. Going forward, we will be booking our warranty services with Kearys in Charleville instead. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid the Cork City service department.
I bought a 3.5yrs old electric Renault Zoe from David Barrett, Kinsale Road Roundabout recently. The car itself is pristine and dealing with David made the purchase very smooth and stress free. I hadn't been in the car-buying market for 9 years so I was flummoxed with the array of cars available. David was very patient with my long list of questions and my indecisiveness, and he wass very informative. I can’t recommend Keary's highly enough, it’s a very professional outfit!
I purchased a Dacia Spring extreme Friday 22 August.the boot door wasn’t opening properly but I was told it would be ok as it was new .it’s still not working.i contacted the sales person on 3occassions since.I was told I would get a call from the service team but I’m still waiting .I am a picture framer and am loading and unloading glass through the back seat every day this is an accident waiting to happen.expected so much more from kearys .i regret buying the car in Middleton.Liam Browne
Just purchased a BYD Atto 3 recently at Kearys BYD Belgard. Got a great deal from Cian Dowling who was a mine of information but also a great listener. Very nice mannerly chap. Kearys is in a great location only 1 minutes walk from Luas Belgard. I've been driving this Atto 3 for nearly a month and I must say comfort and technology are par excellence. When I get my meter sealed I hope to have many happy trips in my taxi. Thanks to Cian and Adam in service and all the team at Kearys for a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
