I cannot fault Kent Relocation services…

I cannot fault Kent Relocation services at all. I was contacted throughout the whole time the shipment was in progress, was given forms early to sign to make sure custom clearance was smooth and was updated at every step of the way. I didn’t realise that they also unloaded all our boxes, unpacked everything and put our furniture back together again!! They have also said once we’ve finished unpacking some personal boxes that they will come and collect the cardboard, am yet to contact them to arrange this but am sure it won’t be a problem. Would highly recommend them

Kent Removals Furniture Removal

Kent Removals moved our furniture and personal belongings from a 3 bedroom home in QLD to a storage unit in NSW. I cannot rate them highly enough. Three men arrived on time and were very professional, friendly and efficient. We walked the house and garage and they noted everything that was to be loaded into the container and then verified everything with me. Our 3 beds and bases were all wrapped professionally and the TV’s were also boxed professionally and carefully. The men worked solidly for over 3 hours before having a quick lunch break and then when the container was fully loaded showed me the list of items that had been packed into the container. Once the signing off was completed they sealed the container and left our property, all within a total of 4 hours. Nothing was dropped or damaged and the three men were very careful with our possessions.Kent Removals have kept us informed of all stages of the move and we would happily recommend them to anyone.

very courteous, careful and extremely helpful from quoting, packing, pickup and delivery. competitively priced. after several quotes i chose Kent. i would not use anyone else.

Kent provided Customer Services from Start to Finish at the standard that surpasses any other company, any service. It is a shame that Kent standard was the standard many years ago but many other companies have failed. I have told everyone I know about the service the team provided. It was such a delight to deal with Kent. Our items arrived in prefect order :)

Excellent all round service

Excellent all round service. The initial visit to assess our moving needs was most impressive. A room by room, item by item assessment of everything to be moved was done carefully and methodically. The resulting inventory was accurate and reliable.The moving crews arrived on time and completed the loading and unloading easily and quickly to schedule. They were always well organised and with a sense of fun.And office back up was always good with timely reminders and processing.

Relieved the stress

We have used Kent Twice in the last 6 months. They were brilliant. So professional but still friendly. Moving day is so stressful but the 2 men we had put us at ease immediately. They treated our belongings with the care you would give your own. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM TO NOT SMASH UP your artwork and then get a wall of silence: There was unnecessary damage caused by Kent Removals (KR) totalling approximately £6000.When KR staff had already unloaded all the tea chest sized boxes and only the artwork items, with fragile tape and “glass/picture/artwork” written all over them, I was at the van when I observed KR staff (not the grey bearded guy, the other one) with his foot at the back of the trolley trying to forcefully shunt the trolley under 3 pieces of artwork at the same time which he had ‘lined up’. I said to him immediately “please don’t do that, it is rather expensive glass artwork” his response was, and I quote “I have done this before”. As he retried again to shunt the trolley under the three items once again and that didn’t work for the second time, I then observed him get the corner of the trolley blade at the base and he is twisting the trolley by holding on to the sides back and forth trying to edge the corner under the three items for the third attempt.I then walked away thinking this will end in stuff being broken. I walked inside and came straight back out and he had parked the trolley in the carport and asked to use the toilet. Forty-five minutes later his colleague came and asked me “…do you know where X is, he’s been gone for 45 minutes”, I then pointed out where the downstairs bathroom was that he had gone to and not reappeared.It is my impression that he had stayed on the toilet so long hoping someone else would move the items on the trolley because he already knew items were broken and in essence he was trying to palm off the blame (or at least have an excuse to say it wasn’t him) he even said to me, when we were standing next to the trolley in the carport once his colleague had retrieved him from the toilet “do you want to take it?”. My instincts told me no way. Needless to say when the goods on the trolley had made it into the foyer downstairs and I did help both of us move the panel into my bedroom where all artwork was being put initially, the moment we placed the bottom edge down (still in all its packaging) you could hear the glass crunch. I knew then it was broken and staring at the KR staff member present (not the grey bearded guy) there was no doubt in my mind the KR staff member knew it as well.In order to get any engagement, despite repeated attempts, it was only when I threatened to raise a formal complaint with the NSW Office of Fair Trading that inadequate traction commenced. I have since raised the complaint.

Dreadful company

Lost boxes, scratched and broken items and they squirmed out of the insurance claim. We lost $3,000 - $4,000 of our belongings. They weren't helpful, they didn't seem to care. Very stressful time. Would never recommend or use them again.Four years ago and it stll bothers me.
