The people at Kent removals were fantastic. It included an initial consultation where an agent came out to assess the size of the job, gave great infomration about cost and process, and booked it in then and there. Highly competitive price. The day of the move, the movers were punctual, efficient and highly professional. It all went smoothly. Would highly recommend and if we ever move again, we would use them again.
The whole day was a disgrace..Your drivers were so desperately late..I was told they would be at my place between 7-8am..They rolled up at 10:30!!!Then couldn’t get the truck up my driveway..Due to lack of communication on Kent’s behave..The drivers had no idea how tricky my driveway was..And it took almost 30mins to get the truck in..We put the first item in the the truck at 11:00..My settlement was at 12:00!!!!!Needless to say it didn’t get done till after 3:00pm..The only saving grace for Kent was the people who purchased my property weren’t moving in till the following day..Lucky for you guys.. Hey?????I was told that they would send extra men to get the job done faster..But no one turned up to help..Communication was zero!!Not once did the office staff call to see how things were going knowing damn well we weren’t going to make settlement time!!!I’m disgusted with the service..And I’ll NEVER recommend Kent Removals to anyone..
What went right with our move? NOTHING.Totally agree with previous comments. You are made to pay total upfront otherwise they won't confirm uplift of goods. Then you have absolutely no financial recourse with them. Our uplift was in July with a delivery date in August. Half of our goods arrived on the due date to be told that there were missing boxes and furniture. No communication with customer service despite numerous phone calls and emails. Finally get communication from a supposed Manager and then the Head Honcho. We had damaged goods, insurance excess $500 and then asked to sign a release document. We still have not received our goods and no confirmation of when that delivery might be. I should add that the guys doing the uplift and delivery were great. Pity their work ethic didn't cross over to the operation staff.Also have had family members use Kent for an overseas posting. Goods that were supposed to be put into storage arrived at the international destination. THEY GENUINELY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
From first contact to final delivery their service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The guys who collected our stuff and the guys who delivered it were beyond professional but still super friendly. We had lots of question in between the big move and they were always answered promptly. When our plans changed Kent Staff were always able to change plans with us. Nothing was ever too hard or not able to be done. We were blown away with the price too. Very competitive.
From the quoting stage to final delivery, Kent were fantastic! Very competitive pricing, furniture was well protected during pick up and storage, both sets of removalists at each end were timely, helpful and careful with all our furniture, we will definitely use Kent again!
Horrible service, no response to emails, when I called to follow up telephonically I firstly get told that customs queried a form two weeks ago but no response has been made to that and they also cant tell me what has happened since, then the person who answered the call cant provide me with any other details about our case and I need to speak with the person dealing with the case, but they are not available and there is also no one else I can speak to in the entire company. Trusting all your belongings with a company like this is not an option, avoid. When I insisted I want to speak with someone that can provide me with details the call was dropped.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Almost 30k AUD and the worst experience I have ever had. Oh and by the way I am still waiting for my furniture from end of Jan to now with a relocation from Australia to UK. The communication once you have paid is absolutely woeful. I escalated and escalated and still no official response from Kent. I work in an industry where relocation occurs amongst peer group. I ensure that every day I tell 10 people to not use Kent in the hope that they tell 10 people. Once you pay it is no communication. Worst experience ever - do not use domestically or internationally
We entrusted Kent Removals with relocating my mums house contents from the uk to Australia. We were kept well informed of the delivery date and the guys doing the delivery were fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this company highly enough
