KFH promised much and some of the staff were engaging and possessed good communication skills which suggested that they would do what they stated. Sadly, they did not do this and put forward an inappropriate 'tenant' that did not truly exist. It was a rapid tenant proposal, indicating limited investigation or validation. There was poor financial evidence. Much of this process seems to have been done by other companies and there was no consistent KFH governance/ oversight. Once in the house it was used by multiple people against the direct instruction for a family tenant. The property suffered much damage, memories of a house and home were ruined and finally the 'tenant' was evicted.
Despite all of this KFH state that they did a good job, charged their commission despite not fulfilling what was instructed. It seems there is limited reflection within the company as to how they could have done this better and seem to accept that a house may be 'trashed' and KFH have no accountability.
Get KFH to do everything! We recent sold and purchased with KFH, they organised our conveyancing and provide mortgage brokering services too. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service provided. I have been a client of the company on the lettings side for many years and can confirm their letting services are commendable. However, the property management aspect is completely inadequate. I often have to seek out my own contractors because the company tends to hire the most expensive ones, charging unreasonable fees and providing inflated quotes. The property management staff seem either incompetent or unmotivated to grasp the issues reported by tenants, resulting in emergency call-out fees for situations that clearly do not qualify as emergencies. Ultimately, I find myself managing everything on my own, even as an overseas landlord.

Our time with the company has been one of the most disorganized and unprofessional experiences while renting in the city. The rental team and now the property management team have repeatedly shown inefficiency in addressing reported issues, lacking attention to detail and basic property knowledge, and responding unreasonably slowly. This has caused ongoing conflict with the landlord and discomfort in our living situation. The offices seem either understaffed or inexperienced, unable to handle basic rental management needs.
Deceptive practices and I do not recommend the branch. The team and their accounts department have been dishonest and need to improve their sales tactics. They commit to fees and then send debt collectors for amounts not agreed upon or included in the contract. Beware and stay clear.
I was mistakenly charged twice for a service, and it took around 20 emails and 60 phone calls to resolve. I was assured by the management team that the issue was resolved and my duplicate payment refunded, only for it to happen again within six weeks. I submitted a formal complaint a week ago but have received no response, and after 10 calls today, no one is willing to take my call. I was satisfied with the service provided by the company until six months ago. It has since become a service not worth paying for, as the back office is in complete disarray and no one seems willing to take responsibility. If you are okay with unauthorized charges deducted from your account, this is the service for you; otherwise, seek a better lettings agent.
