In one word.. Valerie! So helpful and super efficient. She got back with a quote really quickly and organized collection when it suited us. Valerie was really friendly and helpful and knew how stressful a house clearance can be. The men arrived after a phone call in advance and were efficient and I was glad my son could help as some of the items were extremely heavy. We had to organize a further collection as the truck was full. Valerie organized it for the next day and the guys arrived as promised and had everything in a smaller truck very quickly. Valerie even organized a discount so it meant a lot. We would highly recommend Kollect.ie
When I checked a month ago, they were the cheapest around, so I was a bit surprised to see that their prices rose with 20%, so I called and they said they can give me a €20 discount (I could have gotten €15 online anyway), but nevertheless I went with it.I ordered a skip for a specific date. I said, I'll probably need it for a week, but I may need to extend. They said no problem, just call them a day or two before and an other week extension would be €20-30.They called a day before that they can only deliver a day later. Since I couldn't order anywhere else in such a short notice, I agreed. They said as a compensation, I can extend for free.To my surprise, about midday on the specified date the skip was delivered after all. I was really happy.(a day after an other skip arrived, which meant, they are not really on top of their game, but it wasn't my problem this time)Early in the morning on the 6th day I asked for a week extension, but they said, they can only extend it for a day and it will be €20. I told them, it wasn't what they said earlier, but they said, this is how it is now. So I extended as much as I could.Early morning on the 8th day they came to collect the skip, so it wasn't even 8 full days I paid for.Not happy. Wouldn't recommend them.Unorganised, untrustworthy, slow to deliver, quick to take away.
If I could give no stars I would. Worst service ever. Paid for an 8 yard skip to be delivered on Friday. Was rang Friday at 11am and told (not asked) that I would get a 6 yard the next day. I spent the entire day on the phone trying to get it sorted. It was not sorted at all. No communication back at all. I had to make multiple phone calls to them.Atrocious customer service. I had men hired to fill the skip but they did not care. Then I wanted the skip collected early the next week and they were 5 days late collecting it! Again, no apology, no assistance, nothing.Absolutely appalling service. Would NEVER use again.
Excellent experience with this company. Had booked man with the van for some of my garden and house waste clearance and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Declan was great lad who called prior collection to let me know when he be arriving and worked hard enough to transfer all my mess from one side of the garden to the other side where his van was parked as I had no other access. Highly recommend if you looking to get rid of some unnecessary items and even garden waste,just bag smaller ones, like a grass or weed. Branches are good to go as they are. If you look to get rid of construction waste you better of ordering any of the skip options. Which will be next " to do" on my list and I know who's skip I will be getting. Definitely recommend them.
