Ordered a unit from them for testing. We received a shipping notice it would arrive in 3 days via UPS. It never arrived and it took 90 days to get a refund from Lab401. If you know about UPS as a Canadian, you know never to buy products shipped using UPS.
Be prepared for bad (not poor, but actually bad) customer support. Just look at their responses below to customers who have given 1-star ratings. They are dismissive and not helpful. To quote from another, 4-star review here: "But the constant 'take it or leave it' attitude has been quite annoying all the time."They are not interested in helping customers, and rely on their internal policies as an excuse to not help.I won't provide any more detail - it's clear they only want to show customers as wrong, rather than find a solution. Order from Amazon when possible.Borderline scammers. Order at your own risk.I'm leaving this here to warn others, not to get a resolution from Lab401. They've already told me they're not interested in a resolution.
Placed an order for delivery to New Zealand, very happy with the products and the customer service! The order was shipped via UPS and there were some delays due to it going through US customs. This was no fault of Lab401's, and they were quick to respond to my emails and very helpful every step of the way. Eventually the package arrived intact and I'm happy with the order! Would order again but perhaps request future orders to NZ be shipped with DHL.
Paid for "Premium shipping" at 40 euro, which turned out to be UPS -- which they later admitted to having continued problems with.After UPS lost the package, support was contacted, a claim was opened and the original costs refunded. Now they are no longer using UPS any longer and raised the shipping prices even further. This appears to have changed after my purchase attempt and successive claim.I am not convinced that the increase in shipping cost has any correlation to an improved success rate. It was a stretch to begin with.Update to vendor response: the "Customer" did not receive any product."Customer" never mentioned "express service", only what the vendor called "premium" shipping at checkout. Support provided no additional documents or information when asked about the status of the missing shipment.
