I get it, the dresses are cute, but it's SERIOUSLY NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.If the dress comes remotely ill-fitting, your only options are to stick with the dress you have or pay twice as much to get the right size. The website claims you can get a full refund or exchange within the first two weeks, but that's completely false advertising.In my excitement, I bought many dresses from this store and submitted a couple of returns and exchanges, only to discover too late that they ONLY GIVE PARTIAL REFUNDS. It doesn't say it anywhere on the website, but they gave me around ~50% refunds and exchanges, despite me following every single stupid rule in their refund policy. (And MOST were exchanges, I wasn't just buying dresses and returning them all the next day.)More importantly, my multiple emails to their customer service team went ignored (over several weeks, the tone initially very polite and complimentary). They ONLY started to reply after I began complaining about the horrific customer service in the website chat feature and in private messages to the shop's official Instagram page.I've never seen such truly apathetic, unhelpful customer service. The customer service team ignored me for months on end and when they finally did reply, they only answered half the message and fully ignored everything I say about the partial refunds. They insisted I would be refunded the full amount once it hit my bank account, but obviously that's not what happened, and they haven't answered me since I confirmed and proved it wasn't the full amount.DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. You may think you'll get lucky and end up with the right size of dress, but I read a ton of reviews online saying that Lacemade runs small, only to receive my dresses and find that they run large on me.If you want a dress that fits well--or that won't cause you migraines and cost twice as much as it should--Lacemade is NOT the shop for you. Shoppers beware.(Also, for the record, I'm not just a troll/hater lol. I'm not a frequent online shopper, but the difference that customer service makes is HUGE. Wonderland by Lillian is much pricier, but their customer service team is AMAZING, so kind and accommodating, if you can afford their dresses instead I can't recommend them enough.)
I love this dress, it's beautifully made but when I went to exchange it because there sizing is a little smaller than normal they tried to give me $2 when I paid over $100 for this dress. When I tried to get someone to help me they have no one working US hours and I do not feel the understood what I was saying at all. I had to dispute the charges to get my money back and now I'm stuck with no Halloween costume. I'm devasted. I would have ordered so many more things from them but I feel like I've been scammed.
I want everyone to know that the majority of the good reviews here are basically bought by Lacemade. Lacemade is giving a $15 coupon for a five-star review. They have a lack of quality control so you either get a really good product or a product that has some damage. They will not make things right depending on the service agent that answers your emails.
Ordering was quick and easy. The website is easy to navigate. The dresses were shipped rather quickly and there was tracking so it was easy to follow. My dresses arrived earlier than I had anticipated which was an exciting thing. Upon opening the box the dresses were in perfect condition, looked just as described and shown on the website and the material used is really nice. There were some extra goodies in the box as well which were adorable! Tried on the dress and it fits exactly how I would want it to. The measurements shown on the site are accurate. I'm beyond happy with my purchase and 100% will purchase from Lacemade again!
Really cute clothes! They’re unique and made well. My daughter is petite and these dresses fit her so nicely. Sometimes small dresses are baggy on her, but the ones from LaceMade are perfect. My daughter always gets compliments when she wears LaceMade outfits. She had a video. On TikTok go viral and she was wearing one of the dresses and many people wanted to know where it was from.
Lacemade has truly unique clothing that I have not found on any other site. Product shipping is a bit slow but is to be expected and is well stated on the website. Using the sizing charts is crucial when getting desired fit but i absolutely love this brand and will be ordering again soon!
I've ordered from lacemade multiple times and I am very conflicted about some of their products and customer service. Let me start with the shipping. I live in the US and shipping takes anywhere from 2-3months. By the time my order ships I already forgot what I ordered and lacemade has already released two new collections. All ordered ship from China. Next is customer service- the customer service is non existend. The customer service is sooo bad, they don't respond to any emails, returns or order updates. You have to pay for returns and wait until lacemade receives the product before they might give you a refund back. Last but not least is product quality. The product quality has gone significantly after time, there's a lot of design flaws or product quality issues. The material is cheap and not worth the money. Some of their earlier dresses are really nice tho. Also they treat influences better than their paying customers. Overall not worth it. Save your money.
