Review Time
I ordered an item over 5 weeks ago. I have reached out to the company 3 times for an update and only received an automated reply that they would get back to me within 24 hours (they didn’t). I ordered this item in plenty of time for Christmas, or so I thought. I will never order from them again. Edit: The item never arrived for Christmas, but they did give me a refund. Changing to 2 stars.
I ordered a pre order almost 3 months ago, after 1,5 months(longer than the indicated time on the site), I sent messages and emails asking for updates. They ended up canceling my order without giving me answers,and without me asking them to, and now it's almost been 3 months and I still haven't gotten my money back. I opened a dispute on paypal and until now they still haven't even replied to them.
Sadly I am a longstanding Lacemade customer who is no longer. I had two orders, one from 16th December, one from 13th January. Both pre orders, expected to ship within 30 business days (eg 6 weeks). To date, neither have been recieved. I have been repeatedly ignored, then promised a despatch date of 10th March at the latest. This has come and gone, and therefore I have asked for a refund. I've always been a fan of their clothes but their customer service and order times are abysmal.
Returned some clothes that didn’t fit me back in August and til this day I still haven’t received my refund of around €200. They don’t provide you with a return label and you have to pay for postage to ship it to their warehouse to which they tell you to put the total cost of the package as under $10 so that they can avoid paying customs on it.Customer service is nonexistent, the number for their whatsapp per their email signature doesn’t exist. They lure you in by giving influencers the best experience so that they give good reviews, but are shit to the normal customers.Don’t waste your time on this brand.
This is a nieche website with frilly, girly patterns, so it is hard to find alternatives for their cottagecore or period pieces. They know this and treat their users in an abusive way. They censor and they block accounts for asking questions (I saw this happen to someone). They have high prices (30+ usd for a beanie, 100+ for a simple dress etc.) And during black friday they had an event where people could use vouchers for discounts. They then proceeded to change the rules retroactively without informing people and cancelled most orders, so it seems like it was just a scam to gain email addresses and to get followers. They do not reply to emails, and they threat people with deleting their membership points and blocking them if they speak up.
The clothes are so pretty.I ordered things that were on pre order, saw reviews saying it will take 2 months and braced myself, but they were already shipped after 2 weeks and came at week 3. I talked to customer support about which size to take before purchasing and the sizing is correct, so I advise you to do the same.
