Listen, I ordered a dress for pre-order and if I knew a pre-order dresses took longer to get and they did not specify that anywhere on their website so I’m thinking pre-order it as soon as it comes in stock. it comes to your faster, I have a homecoming to go to and honestly, I tried emailing them about where my package is at or where the stock is at because this Saturday I have homecoming and I already tried to contact them maybe buy multiple ways via Instagram email and they have a WhatsApp number that doesn’t even work and I’m trying to figure out where my package at. I downloaded the app to track it but it’s saying again awaiting shipment and mind you. I need my dress by Saturday so I’m trying to figure out. Hey can we just compromise something and y’all can just ship something out before that day and honestly now I feel like I’m being scammed because again the website I’m seeing it on saying it has not been shipped yet And honestly, I need to be kind of shipped now especially when I paid a bunch of money for the extra shipping. I tried to cancel an order within an hour of making it. I sent multiple emails and help requests with zero response. At 6am they claimed the package has already been shipped and left their facility. I work in shipping, I know packages don't leave the facility as soon as the label is printed. Magically, as soon as the item was marked shipped, I got a response from "customer service" saying I couldn't cancel. They ignored me until they supposedly had probable cause to keep my money. Incredibly unethical company. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company. Wish me luck.
I won 2500 points in a giveaway on Instagram on the 16th of September (@nature.love.fcn is my name there). I contacted them many Times, via dm and comments, no Response. I do not know how I get my points and how to use them/what they are worth cause lacemade does not answer. Very sad, cause I love their dresses.... they did not even tag me in the story with the winners, if I did not see the Story, I would not know that I won because they dit not send me even one message and did not tag the winners... maybe they hope that the winners do not see the one story and never try to get the price? Very very sad.... especially cause the dresses are so wonderfull, but now I am scared to ever actually buy some....
I received a dress with a hole in it. The material felt thin and the sizing was small. I sent a return request and it took days to get a response. They offered a partial refund or store credit instead of a full refund. Update: I was able to finally get a refund after posting my review here.
Made an order on September 13 2025 and I have not received my items. Several emails sent to this company and no response. Its been well over a month going into 2 months now... and nothing about the status of my order or any option to even request a refund! This service is really bad.I need the outfit for a shoot that I keep on rescheduling because of this negligence. This is ridiculous.
The items which were delivered did not match the standard of the products on the website. Returned items and provided the necessary details. I returned my items almost 2 months ago and have yet to receive my refund. I also provided the company the requested details for tracking the shipment but they keep coming back to me asking for further details and for me to get back in touch with the company I returned the items through. Additionally the company does not order free returns. This means I am not only down the full amount which I should have been refunded but also the cost of the return.Update- as with many other reviews. Once I posted my negative review from the company I received an email stating they would issue the refund if I removed my review. I said I would not do this and would only consider amendments once I received the refund in full. My last correspondence with them was almost two weeks ago where they yet again asked me for the details I have already provided them.
I bought a dress for an event a MONTH ahead of time. the site says total time for processing and shipping would be about 7-10 days. fine right? well yeah, if they dont lie to you about if its in stock or not. the dress i bought said it was in stock on the website. after 7 days of not getting an email letting me know it was shipped, I had to email them, asking if its going to be shipped or not. after about 3 days and 2-3 different ways of trying to contact them, (email, help box on their site, and even discord) I finally get a message and all it says is that my dress cant be shipped currently because its out of stock. OK AND??? when will it be in stock?? will it be here in time for the event i need it for? why would does your website say its in stock when its not??? absolutely NO communication on their part. i had to be the one to reach out several times to even get this information. Now, i've sent more emails asking for clarification and i've been ghosted. discord, both of their service emails. over 5 attempts to see where my $130 dollar dress is. ive wanted a lacemade dress for years and this is extremely disappointing. i dont even want this dress anymore after the headache this company has put me through. ive also sent them 2 emails about getting a refund and cancelling the order, lets see if they even respond or if i have to call my credit card company and report this. To top this off, the dress on the website still says its in stock. after 2+ weeks. so tell me lacemade? are you letting people order out of stock dresses unknowingly then ghosting them when they ask where its at? or just me? 0/10 experience and i should've listen to the countless other people who have said they have the same experience with this company. if you wanted a lacemade dress I'd recommend just finding a different company that makes similar things.
I ordered a dress for an event and even though it was pre-order according to their own website it would ship within 20 business days. Well it never did. Customer service said it usually 10-15 business days or “though, there are still some unforeseen circumstances that causes further delays such as the essential materials are being imported overseas.” Well is there or isn’t there? I requested a refund and they would not provide one. Customer service has not been helpful. Please do not order from them. They give vague timelines and have not provided the product and at this point I no longer want it after my event has passed and I even gave them 15 additional days.Addition: I made an edit to their reply telling them my order number as they requested. Lacemade said they said they’d urgently get back to me. No one has. They still have not rectified the situation and given me a refund. Or responded to my email. Edit: I have since gotten my refund from them after posting a trustpilot review.
