The size didn't fit.

The size didn't fit. I took the shoes according to the recommendations, added 5 mm, now these 5 mm my foot is dangling, it goes here and there. I took the wide version. With a wide foot, it is better not to add 5 mm. Money spent and I am upset.

Bye bye Shitmano

Sooper dooper happy with the Lake shoes so far. Fit like a dream. Excited for how this is going to transform my rides and send my power output & efficiency through the roof. Human feet are not bananas and shoes should not be shaped like bananas. If you have shoes that fit your feet like your feet actually want, wow. What good things can happen. Took me a while to find that out.

Lake Cycling shoes will never…

Lake Cycling shoes will never disappoint you, No matter what model you choose.I have the CX238 in white and black for those Autumn and Spring rides that you need a warmer sock since the design is a little wider. I have the CX332 in Chameleon blue I find to be my favorite pair. I recently purchased a pair of CX 302 in Hi Viz Yellow for those training rides I want to be seen from a long distance. I am planning on upgrading to the CX403 for the 2026 season. The first time I put a pair of Lake Cycling shoes (over 25 years ago) my feet just felt the difference.

The best fitting bike shoes I’ve ever…

The best fitting bike shoes I’ve ever had. Have a wide foot and can never find a bike shoe that fits properly ending up buying shoes couple sizes larger than I should be getting. My normal shoe size is 8.5 wide and I ordered a 43 wide and they fit perfect. They get five stars for that alone.

Company is great at answering questions…

Company is great at answering questions about their. shoes.Had pair long ago for triathlons. Just bought mountain bike shoes in narrow width. Did size up from 43.5 in others to 44 in Lake. Shoe fits nicely and is very stiff in sole. Only modification I may need to make is making heel a bit tighter as I have to run some in shoes on cyclocross courses.

Lake vs Sidi

Very happy with my CX 219 wide shoes .. comfortable, good fit, light weight and fast ... replacement for my 8 yr old Sidi Genius 10:a ... Picked up .5 mph or better for 20+25 mi rides. Like the Bola much better than the Velcro straps on my Sidi.. also the black ankle tein looks better and stays cleaner than the white on my Sidi's .. highly recommend them !
