They sell your driving info to insurance companies so they can potentially raise your rates. When I requested deletion, they sent me an email at 1 AM to say they denied my privacy rights.
I had been a member for years and only used roadside assistance twice. Recently, my son's truck broke down just a short distance from home, but roadside assistance denied coverage. They charge $7 a month for this service and $15 for a premium membership, yet only allow two services per membership year. When I called to complain, I was told I wasn't eligible for assistance until my membership renewed in June. I sought clarification on the $7 monthly fee for roadside assistance, but received no satisfactory response, just a vague acknowledgment of my frustration. It's hard to believe they truly understand it. It seems unreasonable for a company to charge $22 a month for a service they do not honor. How is it justifiable to pay $7 a month for assistance that is limited to twice a year? Why isn’t this cost included in the $15 premium membership? Given the numerous class action lawsuits around today, this is a company that certainly deserves scrutiny.
In Section 7, Subsection C, Subsection 1, you are restricted to just two assistance calls per year. My youngest daughter locked her keys inside her car months ago and received help. My oldest daughter got stuck in mud and was pulled out. However, when my engine failed while driving on the interstate, I found out about the limit on calls. They offered to tow me for $160 plus $7 per mile, while a local service charged only $100 for a distance of less than 3 miles from my home. I strongly advise against using this service; other options are much more reliable.
ONCE GREAT, NOW DISAPPOINTING! Currently plagued by numerous bugs and issues, and the support team only offers one response: It’s YOU and YOUR devices, never their fault! I have three devices in my group, and everything worked smoothly until a few months ago. Now, I’m facing strange errors and an influx of spam notifications (yes, I’m a paying customer, so WHY?). I frequently receive "detected a trip" alerts throughout the day. I traced the source of the notifications and disabled it, which resolved the issue, but support still insists it’s my devices to blame, ignoring my evidence. For the last three weeks, everyone has had a large ring around their location on the map. In a small area, they wouldn’t register movement, and the app claimed they remained stationary. Again, the response from support was just excuses about my device. Interestingly, the extra rings have disappeared, and users are now showing their actual locations without any changes on our end—no app updates or adjustments. Yet, support still insists it’s my device! AVOID SPENDING MONEY ON THIS! There is absolutely no support; it’s just a constant blame game directed at the user.
ONCE A GREAT SERVICE! Now it's plagued with endless new bugs and issues. Support always blames the user and their devices. I have multiple devices, and everything worked perfectly until a few months ago. Now, I receive strange errors and an influx of spam notifications (yes, I'm a paying customer, so WHY?). I get constant alerts about 'detected trips,' which I tried to disable, and now they're gone. However, support still insists it's my fault or my devices, ignoring my evidence. Recently, users on the map had a strange ring around them, but it seems to have resolved without any changes on our end. Yet, support continues to dismiss my concerns. AVOID SPENDING MONEY ON THIS! There's absolutely no support, just repetitive blame directed at the user.
Once reliable, now I’m unsure why I’m paying for this service! It frequently freezes, zooming is impossible, and street view has vanished. There’s no one to voice complaints to, just a bot that suggests actions I've already taken! Terrible experience! I eventually managed to speak with a representative who admitted they’re aware of the issues but offered no real help or refund. It’s frustrating to be told to just wait and see if they can address the problems.
AVOID THIS PURCHASE! You receive an item that may arrive damaged, and if the batteries are depleted, they won't replace it, even if it’s brand new. This feels like a scam designed to take your money by selling defective products. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER!
I absolutely enjoy this app – it has never disappointed me. It’s user-friendly and meets all my needs perfectly. I’ve never encountered any ads – there simply aren’t any. I’ve been using it with my family since the previous service ended. It’s been years of a terrific experience.
Initial impressions were good, but then came the ads and pay-per-use features. The main reason for my low rating is that my family member showed me how the app tracks usage, and it falsely claims I've used my phone while driving 59 times in 4 days. I never use my phone while driving, and this could have serious implications if my phone were checked after an accident. This app is ridiculous, and all my family members have now uninstalled it.
Terrible application. I thought it was the original app, but it’s not. It drains battery, has constant pop-ups, and once a device is linked, it can’t be unlinked or relinked. I would have to purchase a new device to use the original app again. What a hassle!
