Review Time
Well it is disappointing that I have to leave such a low rating. The customer service is horrible. I placed my order, received my order, submitted a request for a return (I ordered the incorrect color), processed payment for the exchange, and I am on week 3 since processing exchange and still HAVE NOT HEARD FROM LION BRAND. I have emailed customer service, a week has passed and I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM LION BRAND. it would be so nice and appreciative if I HEARD FROM LION BRAND. I mean that is only the right thing to do. Just RESPOND TO YOUR CUSTOMER.
After receiving my order and initiating a return, I have never received a label, emailed 8 times to customer service and called 5 times to have a recording state the business was “closed for a holiday” over the last 2 weeks with no voicemail option.I’m so disappointed as the quality of this yarn is superior. At this point I’ve had to initiate a bank dispute.
If there’s a no star option that’s what i will give them. The WORST customer service i’ve ever encountered! OMG! I sent numerous emails and NOBODY has the audacity to respond! To top it off there is NO phone number to contact them. Its sad bec the yarn is good quality but the company itself does not even reach a 1 star! Considering how many people uses lion brand yarn, i don’t see why they let customers go through all these hassle and frustration!!! Its not fair! I reached out to all their social media platforn as well. So disappointed and stressful for me. Now, please send me my yarns or give me a refund.
I was supposed to receive a free item, but it was not included in my shipment. I paid more to get the free item. This company is nothing but problems and has the worst customer service. I wish my favorite designers would give up on them and go somewhere else. I'm sick of dealing with this awful company.
Canceled my order even though they still showed it in stock on the website. I'm pretty sure they just didn't want to honor the discount they put on it. I only got a partial refund even though i refused the package and they got it back. They were also extremely rude in the emails or i wouldn't have rated them so low
I like the thick wool ease yarn for making blankets and even scarves. Lion Brand website has a large variety of sizes, colors and even yarn for baby projects. What I didn't like is having to pay for the free return service. That should be standard especially if there's an issue with the product or with shipping. Regarding shipping, it was awful! I placed the order on September 7th and received my products on September 22nd. The shipping was bare basic and I would expect more from a company like Lion Brand Yarn. If I want yarn quickly I'll go to Hobby Lobby, Walmart or Michael's to see what Lion Brand varieties they offer. If I don't care when the product arrives then I'll order through Lion Brand Yarn's website. Overall three stars, which is average because getting a product two weeks later in 2025 is average. It is not five star. One extra star for wonderful colors and yarn selection.
